Results for kids
These recommendations are based on our trip to New Orleans in 2015 with the kids, as well as general research on things to do based on your interests. I would highly recommend at least one or two guided tours or experiences as well as just wandering and experiencing everything. There are tons of amazing food options as well. Have fun!

Japan has a huge culture of soaking in hot springs called onsens - this grew to be one of my absolute favorite parts of Japanese culture! During my time living there, I found myself visiting my local onsen at least twice a week (not kidding!). I found it to be the perfect way to spend alone time, relax, and fully reset.
Japan is home to over 25,000 onsens and it is deeply engrained into Japanese culture. It's not uncommon in Japan for friends, families, or couples to take weekend trips to visit an onsen and its surrounding areas. Known for healing properties, a way to decompress and rejuvenate, and an escape from busy city life - it's a must-try when in Japan!

Another family get away,,. this time with extended family. Group of 13. Ages ranging from 76 to 12. This city is rich in Jewish history despite Hungary’s willing cooperation with Hitler in WWII. You can definitely see that this city spent many years behind the iron curtain. It’s perfect for a long weekend including a quick day trip to Lake Balaton and the quaint city of nearby Tinhany

Maui has a lot on offer for first timers. To me, Maui is more of a "resort" based island, is very family friendly, has some great, unique activities and it's own take on Hawaiian cuisine. Don't forget the banana bread! You could easily spend a week exploring.
I think of Maui from a geographical standpoint and there are 4 key areas to explore: Kaanapali in the north west, Kihei in the south west, Hana in the north east, and Kahului/Haleakala in the middle. The first two are more centralized with hotels/places to stay and the other 2 are easy day trips. 4-5 days is ideal for exploring Maui for the first time!

Koh Lanta, in my opinion, the best island to join Koh Lipe on the same trip, is located in the province of Krabi in the South of Thailand.
Koh Lanta offers a perfect combination of forest, wildlife and dreamy beaches, which is ideal for any traveller! [Solo, teenagers, families, etc.]
It is easily accessible by bus from Krabi or boat from Koh Lipe.
The best time to go is from December to mid-April.
I recommend going 3-4 days! we stayed for 3.
In this guide, you can expect my recommendations on places of interest and tips for each!
Enjoy and start looking to book the trip - you do not want to miss out on this one!
Any questions or topics not mentioned do not hesitate to reach out! <3

While so many of my favorite, delicious local restaurants tend to be family run trattorias or typical hole-in-the-wall joints, sometimes you do want a nice atmosphere to celebrate an occasion or feel like you're truly relaxing on vacation. Here's a list of some more upscale dining experiences for food or drinks.

Born and raised in the heart of Paris, I spent my entire life immersed in the beauty of this city—living, studying, and embracing its charm. Four years ago, I embarked on a global journey, exploring far-flung corners of the world. Yet, every return to Paris to visit my family feels like rediscovering the city as a tourist, and each time, it becomes even more enchanting.
This guide is crafted for those choosing to embrace their best life in Paris, offering essential insights to navigate the city with safety and awareness. Need a pharmacy at 2:00 AM? I've got you covered. Craving the best baguette in town? I've got that too <3. Lost in the labyrinth of Parisian public transport information? Fear not, this guide has all your questions answered.

Two incredible National Parks within hours of each other - don't miss Yellowstone and Grand Teton on your western US adventures! This 8-day itinerary (including travel days) gave us the ability to spend quality time in each park. Tons of beautiful scenery, wildlife sightings, a bit of hiking, shopping, and good food will all be had on this trip.
We traveled in early May (and we saw snow in parts of the parks!) just before the busy season. These parks are great for family-friendly, couples, group, and solo trips.

Ready to discover this astounding region?
This guide is based on my trip and what I did when I visited this area.
I came here during summer, but most of the activities can be done all year round. If you are looking for skiing suggestion, this guide is not for you.
My friends and I traveled by car, so the guide has been written accordingly. You can still find this guide interesting if you plan to bike around or come by camper or caravan as there are also suggestions of what to do and where to eat. If you plan to use public transportation, this is not covered in this guide.
This guide contains activities for 3 full days: from Pragser Wildsee Lake (Lago di Braies) to Marmolada, from 3 Peaks (3 Cime di Lavaredo) to Misurina Lake.
At the end you will also find a link to useful tour for looking for other trail suggestions o to build up your own itinerary.
Whether you are traveling alone, with your family or you couple, or with a group of friends, you will find fun and easy activities that can be done by everybody.
You will get an interactive map (with more than 50 places) that includes everything you need for a full 3 days trip to this region. If you don't have that much time, you can choose what you'd like to do & come back again to do the rest!
It includes details for hikes and activities, view points, food & drink, and I have even done some research for you by including extra accommodation and restaurant options.

Thank you for your interest in my Taste of Tuscany itinerary which I created from my recent trip there. I hope you enjoy some of my suggestions for your next trip to Florence and the Siena region of Tuscany. If you do, please let me know in a message and maybe a photo. I am organizing this particular tour during this harvest season from September/ October, 2023. Let me know if you would like more information about this trip, it is limited to a small group of 8.
As a travel consultant, I have been organizing bespoke tours all over France and Italy since 2012. I enjoy traveling and sharing my wonderful local small/slow travel experiences with the intension of helping small family businesses recover from the past couple of difficult years. I have more itineraries to share from around the world, so be on the look out.
I envision the Next Renaissance will be in the small towns and villages in Italy, where the people have lived close to the earth for generations, cultivating a simple but beautiful way of life we can all learn from. There is a shift away from big travel business, toward slow/small travel. It is the way I like to travel.
Enjoy! Buon Viaggio!! ...and please mention my name to the locals :)

The morning light is amazing in Florence and has inspired artists and art lovers for centuries. It’s no wonder Florence is at the heart of the Italian Renaissance. After breakfast, your guide will meet you downstairs for a private walking tour of the Duomo, Giotto’s tower Brunelleshci's dome, MichelAngelo’s David and the Uffizi Museum to see my favorite Botticelli, The Birth of Venus. After a long day of sight seeing, it’s time for a siesta to refresh and be ready for an aperativo at Enoteca Alessi https://www.enotecaalessi.it/. With a huge selection of Italian and international wines as well as whiskeys, spirits and liqueurs from all over the world, you can enjoy a bottle or 2 among friends with a tagliere of Italian cured meats and cheeses.
Dinner at Ribeo, https://www.facebook.com/OsteriaRibeo/ the hand cut Chianina tartare will not disappoint. On the walk back to the hotel stop by My Sugar Gelato Artiginale https://my-sugar.business.site/. The Black Sesame and salty caramel are my favorites.
