My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Queenstown and it has now become somewhere we want to go back to again and again. If you like food, wine and road trips on your holidays then Queenstown could be for you. Take a look as I share our favourite parts of our itinerary from the 12 days we spent in Queenstown. Our trip balanced some indulgent luxuries with more affordable options, and struck a good balance between doing everything we wanted to do while still having some much needed post wedding down time.

Most of the stops in this food crawl offer Chinese food, because of the heavy Chinese influence in the Flushing area. Most people think of Manhattan’s Chinatown when they think of Chinatown in New York. However, most of the food in Manhattan Chinatown is Cantonese (and yes, it's great!). On the other hand, Flushing is Queens’ Chinatown. It's not necessarily forgotten, but it represents mainland China more. Manhattan’s Chinatown is more compressed, whereas Flushing has a lot of big food halls, grocery stores, and communities so it feels more local. I've also included a bonus map of 15 of my other favorite food spots in Flushing and nearby Murray Hill… in case you happen to still be hungry, or if you ever return to Flushing & just want to try something new! The bonus spots aren't in walking distance the way the ones in the food crawl are. But I wanted to include some food in this guide that wasn't just Chinese, to highlight the Korean, Indian, and Taiwanese demographics that also influence these neighborhoods.

You can use your subway card to pay for them as well. -Red Brick Warehouse is always open for shopping, but they change the event in the plaza space. Check their website or instagram to see what they are planning. -Chinatown is known for street food, but the food choices can get a bit repetitive. Check out the restaurants as well! -Yokohama Station is great fun in the evening. It's loaded with bars, izakayas, karaoke, arcades, record bars, ramen shops, and more.
