Welcome to Rome! I know this city can be overwhelming, so I'm here to help! I've divided this guide in various sections (neighbourhood names). These are my favorite places to eat and drink in the Eternal City
Please remember it is always best to make reservations while in Rome. If you show up to a restaurant and they are fully booked, they most likely send you away, there is no concept of waiting in line for the next table to free up in Rome (there are some exceptions like most pizza places)
Tipping in restaurants is not expected, but it is always very much appreciated! Please remember that tips can only be left in cash so make sure to always have some smaller pieces on hand (it is also preferred when paying for small things like a coffee or water bottle in a bar)

I’ve included over 40 places to explore in this trendy, quirky, and hipster neighbourhood just west of Shibuya. And I've also added a newly built onsen/ryokan hotel which is super rare to find in Tokyo.

🗺🚶♀️All the spots provided in this guide are in walking distance of each other. You can explore leisurely at your own pace without relying on trains.
🧑🤝🧑 👀 🍲 There are plenty of great spots for people watching, strolling, and food. Small shops run by local owners outweigh the chains, so all the spots have a much more personal feel.

Roman cuisine is so much more than the ordinary pasta and pizza that everyone assumes at first instance. Being highly influenced by the 'poor person's' concept of cooking, our cuisine is filled with traditional historic recipes, which have been handed down through several generations and transformed over the course of time.
With hundreds of restaurants all serving their own versions of classics and innovative dishes, you will have a culinary experience that will exceed your expectations.
Having said this, Rome can be a very confusing and overwhelming city to visit. With so many restaurants, bars and food establishments in general to choose from, it's very easy to fall into tourist traps.
This is my guide with all my favourite food and beverage spots that you must visit when in Rome!

Welcome to your FREE guide to Yokohama, Japan.
Or as I call it, "the PG-13 Las Vegas of Japan".
This area has activities for all ages:
🛍️ 🎎 manga and anime shopping spots
🖼️ 🎡 museums and theme parks
🌳⛩️ parks and gardens
🌇🏙 incredible views of Yokohama
☕️🍮 coffee and dessert
🍶🍜 izakayas and ramen
All locations in this guide are featured in the
"10 Things to Do in Yokohama" video on King Kogi YouTube, as well as the "Yokohama Tours" King Kogi video.
I've added a few extra locations as well as a list of hotels that I recommend which are in the area.
Bonus Tips:
-CosmoWorld is fun during the day, but many couples go at night for a more thrilling experience
-Landmark Plaza and Queen's Square Mall have coin lockers so you can store your shopping bags. You can use your subway card to pay for them as well.
-Red Brick Warehouse is always open for shopping, but they change the event in the plaza space. Check their website or instagram to see what they are planning.
-Chinatown is known for street food, but the food choices can get a bit repetitive. Check out the restaurants as well!
-Yokohama Station is great fun in the evening. It's loaded with bars, izakayas, karaoke, arcades, record bars, ramen shops, and more.

Over the last 2 years, I have spent three and a half months in Porto, Portugal. That's a ton of meals! 😆 I love trying new foods and restaurants, and here are some of my favorite spots in and around the historic center of Porto!
Most of these places I've just found in my research over the years, some I've been lucky enough to just stumble on, and others have been suggested to me by the locals I have met along the way. But most importantly, I've actually been to every one of these places personally (some more than once!).
I've tried to provide a mix of budget, moderately priced and a few splurge meals. I hope my personal recommendations can help you plan your culinary journey around Porto!
What's included in this guide:
🔹9 Coffee/brunch options
🔹19 Lunch/dinner options

Within my five years of living in Munich, I've genuinely always loved the city from the bottom of my heart (and stomach). This is for various reasons, one of which is that I was lucky enough to have a job that allowed me to try out new cafés, bars, and restaurants around the city, which, in-between cobblestone streets and ornate facades, regularly sprang up from the ground like snowdrops in early spring.
Luckily, I somehow got paid to do that, which was an extreme relief to my lifestyle-exhausted wallet, given the sheer number of aperitifs, sushi platters, club entries, and pasta bowls consumed.
Over the years, the following hospitality havens and pretty places around town turned into my go-to comfort spots. And since there's always some public holiday in Christian Bavaria, every time Jesus chewed on a blade of grass, let's just assume that a weekend in Munich generally lasts for three days – and, that each day automatically unfolds like this: breakfast, lunch, aperitif in the sun, dinner, bar, club (or another bar).
HAVE FUN EXPLORING!
