2022 was the year of a lot of travel redemption for most of us, but it was also the year I had to turn down trips to Portugal, Spain, and Paris, as well as have a trip to New Orleans cancelled due to Covid. But thankfully that didn’t stop me from a spring road trip to Texas, a few summer days in DC, two trips to Disney World, and lots of Tennessee day trips in between. Greece, my favorite European country! The Peloponnese is by far my favorite part of Greece. It is less crowded and a lot cheaper than the famous islands. You can still find many authentic villages and incredible beaches. Visit the most relevant national archeological sites and breathtaking monasteries. It is a great region to go hiking and exploring the many waterfalls. We always rent a car and go on a road trip through the vineyards, olive and orange trees.
