Gran Paradiso is a majestic mountain located in the Graian Alps in northwestern Italy. Standing at 4,061 meters. It is the highest mountain entirely within Italian territory and a prominent feature of the Gran Paradiso National Park. The mountain and its surrounding region are known for their stunning alpine scenery, diverse wildlife, and opportunities for outdoor recreation. Through my personal experience, I have compiled list of things you can expect from the hike.

❗️❗️ If there's one thing I'll never get tired of repeating in all my gastronomic guides about Italy, it's that "THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ITALIAN FOOD". Our incredible peninsula is characterized by regional cuisine, that varies due to historical, traditional, cultural, and environmental factors of a specific territory.
For this reason, every place will have something special that can and should be enjoyed exclusively there.
FYI: Often there are even dishes specific to only one city or village.
In this guide, we'll explore UMBRIA and all its culinary secrets. An incredible list of more than 20 traditional dishes that you must try there, each one on them explained. Tips on restaurants, small eateries, shops and street food stalls where to find them. Ending with a little surprise, but ... NO SPOILERS 😁 😁

Rome, the Eternal City, is a place where history comes to life. Filled with ancient monuments, charming cobblestone streets and delicious authentic Italian cuisine, Rome is a destination that transports you through the centuries. Its beauty stands out among the chaos, with the architecture of its famous coliseums and basilicas, and the vibrant energy of its squares and fountains. In addition, it is a great destination for Italian fashion.

Paris is a major global city, meaning incredible food from under-represented cuisines is at your fingertips. I have made a point to try restaurants from under-represented cuisines, and these ones are SO GOOD!
It's not hard to find incredible French restaurants, authentic Italian restaurants, and even a plethora of mouth-watering Asian restaurants.
However... this guide is different. I created this to help open your eyes to some of the other wonderful types of food you can savor here, and to shine a light on eateries/food cultures that don't always get as much hype as they deserve.
If you're looking for something off-the-beaten-path (or if you're tired of French food), you'll enjoy this guide.
This guide includes:
✅ 13 places I've tried & loved, including cuisine from Senegal, Israel, Singapore, Georgia, Kurdistan, Africa, Ethiopia, Tunisia, India, and Lebanon.
🇸🇳🇮🇱🇸🇬🇬🇪🌍🇪🇹🇹🇳🇮🇳🇱🇧🇩🇿
🇺🇸🍗 BONUS: An excellent fried chicken joint at a US soul food restaurant.
🤤 4 places I want to try next, including cuisine from Taiwan, Tunisia, and Armenia.

Italians are famous for the Dolce Far Niente... sweet doing nothing. I always suggest people build in some time to sit and people watch. The Aperitivo is an art form in Italy and in Florence now, rooftop bars have become a thing. Many are in hotels. You will need a reservation, especially in high season.

A self-guided exploration of Florence's foods through the charming neighborhood of Oltrarno, in 5 stops: a pastry shop, a bakery, a market and/or aperitivo, lunch, and gelato.
In addition to each stop's details, this guide also includes information about Oltrarno, recommended foods to try, a quick guide to Italian coffee, what is "aperitivo", and historical information about Florence's famous wine windows.
Visit every stop, or pick and choose to your liking. Depending on how many stops you make and how long you stay, the tour lasts about 3.30 hours.
Total walking distance: about 1 mile on flat roads.

Ischia (pronounced IS-KEE-A) is a small volcanic island in the Bay of Naples known for beautiful beaches and thermal spas. When tourists go to Capri, Italians go to Ischia! I recommend at least 2 nights in Naples

Matera is like no other Italian village I’ve ever visited! Referred to as ‘little Jerusalem’ it is one of the longest continually inhabited places on earth. Once thought of as a disgrace, Matera has recently been named European capital of culture & featured in the new James Bond film!
I recommend visiting in Spring or Autumn as it gets HOT, especially if you plan to hike!
