We had the unique experience to explore town while Germany is hosting the 2024 European Soccer Championship. A few spots have been closed due to their fan zone that would normally be open during the year. This has made it a fun way to experience the people and culture of Germany.
Berlin is well known for their eclectic and lively nightlife scene. While this is not something we did much with, it makes for a great way to spend the evening for those 18 and older.

Lake Constance, also known as Bodensee, borders Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Visiting this lake in summer truly gave me a delightful holiday vibe. Though it might not be Marmaris, Konstanz still provided me with a warm and enjoyable summer experience. While the lake brings fantastic picnics, boat tours, and fun water sports, Konstanz has much more to offer. The city is a haven for cyclists, with its festivals and beautiful streets making it worth exploring as a tourist, student, or even a potential resident.
Here's my “Don’t leave Konstanz without experiencing these” list:

But we all have basic human needs right?!
Don't worry, I got you covered!
So, here is the map you were looking for... at least for Hamburg, Germany. 🇩🇪
This map includes:
- free drinking water dispensers (🍸), to fill up your cup or bottle

I studied abroad in Strasbourg and absolutely fell in love with this beautiful Alsatian city. It's situated just across the river from Germany which makes for a unique blend of French and German culture here in this quaint town. With canals winding through streets of half timbered houses, a gorgeous cathedral in the center of the city, and beautiful parks, it's like a city straight out of a fairytale. Here's some of my favorite places, restaurants and experiences to enjoy in Strasbourg!

This itinerary received THOUSANDS of saves on Pinterest.... and for good reason! It's truly a grab-and-go plan for a Bavarian holiday that has it all.
In this itinerary, you can expect a detailed guide with the following:
🇩🇪 An itinerary for a fabulous 1 day in Munich, including hotels
🏘️ Visits to the most colorful and picturesque small towns
🏰 Castles, castles and more castles... including one* that looks like it's straight out of a Disney park.
🏔️ An excursion up atop Germany's highest mountain
💦 A hike through a gorge full of waterfalls
🍺 Authentic beer stops
🇦🇹 A detailed (and EPIC) itinerary for 24 hours in Salzburg, Austria, including hotels
*Yes, this guide takes you to Neuschwanstein, too! 🥳
And if all that isn't convincing enough I used this for my own Bavarian road-trip and it remains one of the best vacations I've ever had. (And, that's truly saying something!)
To get an idea of what you'll get, here's an example of one of my free city guides: https://www.thatch.co/guide/nz3fsks6bqjp

In this guide, I'll share with you all the budget hostels I stayed at around the world and my honest opinion about them.
Most of my travels I did as a solo female traveller. And hostels were often the best option - cheap, safe, great places to meet another traveller.

Within my five years of living in Munich, I've genuinely always loved the city from the bottom of my heart (and stomach). This is for various reasons, one of which is that I was lucky enough to have a job that allowed me to try out new cafés, bars, and restaurants around the city, which, in-between cobblestone streets and ornate facades, regularly sprang up from the ground like snowdrops in early spring.
Luckily, I somehow got paid to do that, which was an extreme relief to my lifestyle-exhausted wallet, given the sheer number of aperitifs, sushi platters, club entries, and pasta bowls consumed.
Over the years, the following hospitality havens and pretty places around town turned into my go-to comfort spots. And since there's always some public holiday in Christian Bavaria, every time Jesus chewed on a blade of grass, let's just assume that a weekend in Munich generally lasts for three days – and, that each day automatically unfolds like this: breakfast, lunch, aperitif in the sun, dinner, bar, club (or another bar).
HAVE FUN EXPLORING!

Fall in love with culture, art and museums in the capital of Netherlands. As a museum lover and a lover of Amsterdam's beautiful houses along the city river, I have curated a list of things that you must do while in Amsterdam.
This guide contains links to help you book tickets for your next dream destination. I would advise to pre-book tickets as it will save you a lot of hassle in case tickets are sold out.

I believe having good coffee and conversation is one of life's simplest and most beautiful pleasures, which is why I am always on the lookout for new cafés, not only in places I travel to but also in my own Cologne neighborhood.
Cologne does not disappoint when it comes to great coffee roasts and making sure you're never far from the next place to get caffeinated and loaded with good ol' German pastries and bread.
Have fun exploring the Domstadt & let me know if you enjoyed any of these spots!
