And let me tell you that weekends aren't busy at all!! Wandering around, you’ll stumble upon colorful markets, like Pettah, where you can get lost in a maze of spices, trinkets, and random bargains. It's chaotic, but in the best way possible, perfect for snapping some gritty, authentic travel photos. If you’re into history, Colombo's got you covered. Check out the colonial vibes at Independence Square or the old Dutch Hospital, now buzzing with cafes and shops. And don’t miss Gangaramaya Temple, it's a mashup of all things Buddhist with a side of quirkiness. When you need to catch your breath, hit up Galle Face Green. Grab some street food (isso wade is a must-try), find a spot on the grass, and watch the sunset over the ocean. It’s one of those moments that makes all the hustle worth it. Oh maybe hope on a train to watch the sunset while moving. The best part? Colombo’s a city where you can easily blend in, do your own thing, and still find surprises around every corner. Sri Lanka is a hidden gem in South East Asia located right below India. Its size makes possible to travel all around the island and see its nature, do water sports like surf, witness amazing sunsets everyday and learn about its beautiful and rich culture, too. You can find everything in this island; mountain, beaches, culture, water sports, good food, party, super friendly locals and more! I travelled almost all around the country for 2 weeks, and in this guide I'm sharing with you the best places, tips and my honest opinion so you can enjoy to the fullest of your upcoming trip to Sri Lanka!

Ravenna is a city on the East coast of Italy, a couple of hours south of Venice: it's known as the Capital of Mosaics, a form of art that developed while the city was capital of the Roman Empire and later on during the Byzantine era. The 8 UNESCO heritage sites should be enough to convince you to go visit, but in case they aren't here's 5 reasons why you should: 1. It's CHEAPER than bigger cities like Venice, Florence or Rome, but that doesn't mean it's not as beautiful 2. Staying in a smaller city doesn't mean you won't be able to visit anything else: in fact Ravenna is very WELL CONNECTED by the railway system to multiple major destinations 3. Are you a SEA or MOUNTAIN person? Don't worry, Ravenna has both: 20 minutes east are its beaches, famous for their beach volleyball tournaments, while in the opposite direction you will find the Apennines! 4. Like anywhere else in Italy FOOD isn't the issue: lasagna, cappelletti, "bolognese" sauce, etc. are originally of Emilia Romagna, the region where Ravenna is found 5. Is Italy not enough for you? Apart from being close to Bologna's AIRPORT, Ravenna has also FERRIES that will take you to the Balkans region in no time!

Multiple bridges gracefully connect the city's three main districts: the historic Old Town (Vieux Lyon), the peninsula known as Presqu'île, and the riverbanks on the right bank of the Rhône. For a short stay, it's advisable to choose accommodations as centrally located as possible, ensuring easy access to the city's primary points of interest. While Lyon is mostly walkable, do keep in mind that it encompasses several hilly areas, particularly the Fourvière Hill. For those less inclined to undertake the uphill journey on foot, there's a cable car service available to ascend the heights. Should you wish to extend your journey, Lyon harmoniously pairs with other destinations such as Paris, Dijon (and the Burgundy region), Geneva, and Annecy.
