Interested in visiting Brussels but eager to get away from overly touristy places? Antwerp's the place for you, baby. Flemish people love this authentic gem and often go for day trips to shop and get inspired by its rich history and culinary hotspots. In this itinerary I've bundled when to go, where to go, and how to go. Carefully curated for you by a local. This city trip skips overrated tourist traps and lays out a step-by-step weekend like the locals.
šāļø How long is this trip?
This itinerary is based on a three-day weekend, assuming you'll arrive on Friday evening and depart on Sunday. You can absolutely adapt this plan to a two-day stay, just make sure to read the advice I provide with my recommendations. This way you're in on best times for different activities.
š

A digital travel guide containing vegan, vegetarian, macrobiotic, organic, and gluten-free restaurants in Japan.
Majority of them are located in Tokyo, but I've also included some excellent spots in Kyoto and Fukuoka.
š Iāve organized each restaurant with a convenient category that explains what type of food they serve
š Iāve also included links to their websites/social media.
This guide contains 50 locations with many varieties of food, including:
š°š© desserts
šš„¢ ramen
š®š international cuisine
šš± Japanese food
āļøš„Ŗ cafes and bakeries
šš° higher end restaurants for a special meal
š This guide also includes a zero-waste Guesthouse that has an earth-friendly plant-based cafĆ© and bar, that sells by weight, without trash.
šāØ I've also created a FREE vegan and vegetarian Japanese word and phrase list to help you navigate Japan, so you can just show people your phone, and point.
Iāve also including a handy Gluten Free phrase and help guide, too.

The more traditional terms:

NOTE: Even if youāre vegan, itās good to start with this phrase, ābeh-ji-tarian desā (Iām vegetarian) since it is already rare to be a vegetarian in Japan.
Saying youāre vegan will go over many people's heads, so if they say that they "canāt serve a vegetarian", they definitely can not serve a vegan.
Some helpful phrases you can keep handy on your phone:

Roman cuisine is so much more than the ordinary pasta and pizza that everyone assumes at first instance. Being highly influenced by the 'poor person's' concept of cooking, our cuisine is filled with traditional historic recipes, which have been handed down through several generations and transformed over the course of time.
With hundreds of restaurants all serving their own versions of classics and innovative dishes, you will have a culinary experience that will exceed your expectations.
Having said this, Rome can be a very confusing and overwhelming city to visit. With so many restaurants, bars and food establishments in general to choose from, it's very easy to fall into tourist traps.
This is my guide with all my favourite food and beverage spots that you must visit when in Rome!
