I strongly recommend making reservations and booking tickets in advance when possible, or at least giving a call on the day-of because business opening hours might vary.

Every Sunday morning Panzano wakes up to the sound of vendors setting up their booths in the main square for the weekly market.
There's a little bit of everything: fruit and vegetables, clothes, perfume and toiletries, the occasional artist or artisan.
Hungry? Stop at the cheese stand or at the chicken and fried goods stand for some delicious bites to eat right then and there or to take away.

Right next door to Dario Cecchini's famous butcher shop, you'll find a small and eclectic store which hosts artists and artisans for varying periods of time - you never know what you'll find!
This is a great place to look for locally handmade jewelry, clothing, art and unique artisanal items.

Il Molino di Grace winery

Located in the heart of the Chianti region, Il Molino di Grace is an alluring and authentic slice of Chianti Classico soil, grapes, climate, tradition and innovation. The winery of Il Molino di Grace – the ‘windmill of grace’ – stands upon 20 hectares of vineyards that have been producing traditional Chianti Classico wines for over 350 years, and is also equipped with an historic 19th century windmill and world-class sculptures.
Open for visits Monday-Friday via reservation. Morning tours at 11 and afternoon tours at 2:30 or 3:30, depending on availability.

Fattoria Le Fonti winery

Le Fonti is a small, family-run winery in the heart of Panzano in Chianti that has been in the hands of the Schmitt-Vitali family since 1994, when every vine was replanted, taking great care to select the right type of plants with the correct rootstock.
The roots of a great wine are found in the vineyard and Le Fonti strives to keep them in balance by farming sustainably (organic). Thanks to their relatively small size they can follow the production with great care: only the best grapes arrive in the cellar and only the best selections are bottled.
They're open for wine-tastings in the cellar from March to October, from Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, and on Saturday from 11am to 5pm.
All other times available upon request.
During the winter season the direct sales is open during office hours or by appointment.
Guided cellar tours are by appointment only.

World-famous butcher Dario Cecchini's food truck. Located on the Chiantigiana 222 road that connects Florence and Siena, this meat lover's food truck offers all sorts of delicious panini, wine, and beer.
I strongly recommend the beef belly sandwich as well as the "pastramino" sandwich.
Open every day from 12pm to 3pm.

A great place to enjoy a glass of wine and some Panzanese people watching. One of the largest selections of labels in the area. Ask Gianmaria for 🍷 recommendations, he's a trained sommelier with experience both in Italy and Australia.
Also great for lunch or leisurely dinner.
Recommended dishes:
- eggplant parmesan;
- any of their fresh pastas;
- club sandwich and burgers (yes!);
- homemade "crostata": fruit jam pie.
On Fridays they also offer off-the-menu fish dishes.
