Celebratory night Out or Date Night

My favorite Mediterranean restaurant in all of San Diego. Some of the freshest, most flavorful cuisine I have ever eaten! A beautiful dining experience from start to finish. Reservations book well in advance! They were on the Michelin 'Latest Discoveries' list. I loved the Japanese kanpachi, aleppo chicken, octopus, duck, and whatever is on their 'seasonal specials' list! The pasta here is to die for as well.

Carbón South Park

Low-key, cozy vibes with high quality, delicious food. The menu skews towards European tapas-ish, with some Latin American flair. I recommend the steak tartare, pork belly sliders, Picanha steak (some of the best I've had)!

Wormwood

An absinthe bar with modern French bistro cuisine. The interior is gorgeous but cozy at the same time. Head to the back of the restaurant for their 'Secret Garden' speakeasy! The musts here are the fruit de mer, confit de canard, the scallops.

ARTIFACT at Mingei
@annabelous
The best part about this spot? It's located in Balboa Park and thus the perfect place for dinner after a day at the zoo or the museums ‼️ The menu is globally inspired, and I absolutely loved the hamachi, the pirogy, and the braised swordfish was to die for (And I usually don't like swordfish!) The desert flower cocktail with prickly pear is delicious! Their patio has more of a vibe.

Wolf In The Woods

A beautiful modern European restaurant that feels like it was plucked off of the streets of Madrid. Dishes are a blend of Mexican and European cultures. Classy wine bar feel! I recommend the Jamon iberico toast (this is actually amazing), the duck, carne adobada, steak tartare!

Black Radish
@annabelous
Are you looking for a cozy, intimate French bistro?! Black Radish is an incrediblely elegant restaurant in North Park, serving French classics. It is pricey (expect to drop 200-400 dollars) but each dish is executed very well. Definitely for a VERY special occasion. My favorites were the quail with blackberry BBQ sauce, the pork belly with Fresno chilli sauce, and the suck linguini. All the drinks are great!

Baja inspired, locally sourced seafood with gorgeous outdoor dining overlooking a golf course at a resort. You must try the seafood cocktail, scallops, any local daily specials!
