If you are looking for skiing suggestion, this guide is not for you. My friends and I traveled by car, so the guide has been written accordingly. Welcome to this map! What See What Eat San Vito Lo Capo is a small seaside resort in north-western Sicily famous for the beach overlooking a sheltered bay dominated from above by Monte Monaco. Downtown, the Sanctuary of San Vito (15th century) is a fortress-like structure with Arab-Norman architecture. The small town of Macari is located about 5 km from San Vito Lo Capo. Over several years living here, I must have camped at over 100 different locations in Oman! A camping trip around Oman is an incredible adventure, but knowing where to pitch your tent can be daunting in such dramatic landscapes. Oman has no formal campsites, and all camping is "wild" or "backcountry". I’m sharing all of my favourite hidden gems, and the places we go back to weekend after weekend!
