Right around the corner from this hut is an incredible view of Schafler mountain. They also have your basic Swiss food and good hot chocolate. It is another place you can stay to catch sunrise or sunset overlooking an amazing view.

Another hike you can do from the bottom or take a gondola to the top for a much shorter hike. The gondola does stop running around sunset so if you do not want to hike down (I lost more than a few toenails going down) than make sure to watch times. You can also stay at the lodge at the top and catch these stunning views for sunrise or sunset.

You can either hike by this lake on the way up to on on the way down from Schafler mountain. If you opt into hiking from the top of the gondola you will be get a nice glimpse of the lake. Great, place for a refresh in the summer months as well!

Technically you can say you have hiked in Lichtenstein if you hike to Saxer Lucke as part of the trail crosses into the country. Come prepared for changes in weather and really watch the predictions because if there is any chance of rain you will like not be able to see this beautiful rock formation at all.

You have to take a gondola to reach the trailhead for this hike. The ride back down is by time slot so pay attention to your ticket. The hike up to the bridge/glacier has quite a bit of elevation gain. There is also a lodge you can camp in near the bridge.

While you certainly can hike to the top of this mountain for the views, there is a gondola you can take to the top for the views. Once up there, check out the viewpoints along with the other trailheads. Keep in mind that the gondola does stop running at a certain time so if you don't make the last one you will be hiking down the mountain.
