We just came back from traveling in Albania and we visited so many amazing and unique areas. From the mountains, to the riviera, and the historical towns in between. We LOVED our time in Albania. This guide will show you the wonderful places we stayed and LOVED as well as many beautiful spots we saw along the way that I would have also loved to have stayed in and would go back to someday. This guide is a full itinerary for a road trip from North to South in Albania. Albania is my recent discovery, I spent the entire June 2023 in the country and happy to share all my findings and information about this beautiful destination, based on my personal experiences and local insights. This is a backpacking guide for hiking a variant of the Peaks of the Balkans (POB) trail in 7-13 days through Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo. This route includes all the highlights of the POB trail and adds some exclusive side tours with some of the most majestic landscapes not part of the official POB loop.
