What people say

"This charming café, with the large number of seating both inside and out on the terrace, sparks with unique ambience. Located near the antique market El Rastro, this place is carefully designed, super inviting and with plants all around the café. It is one of the bigger cafés on the list, nonetheless it is very busy, especially on the weekends. There is a seating for those coming to work, however it is limited, so have that in mind. Other than its gorgeous aesthetics, the place offers extensive menu with amazing coffee and food, as well as tea, desserts, pastry and some interesting vegan colorful latte’s which I encourage you to try! As I mentioned prior, though very spacious, it is a crowded place, which leads to service sometimes being a bit slow. Even so, the vibes in this place are amazing, food&coffee tasty and aesthetics inviting and comfortable. It’s one of my favorites on the list! Prices start at 2€ "
"One of the most beautiful cafes in Madrid.. easily. A lot of people feel this way because it's always packed. But unlike most other cafes, it's actually big enough to hold all the people! The food isn't great, but the coffee is. There's also a designated table for laptop users that, again, is actually big enough for everyone to sit at! And there are no outlets, but the wifi is fast. If you're coming to be productive, I'd recommend this as a nighttime café, once most of the people are gone. It closes at 10:30 pm and has that perfect peaceful evening vibe from about 8 pm onwards. "Very good cakes and cute decor with sooooo many plants. No weekend work but there is a big co-working table at the front, and a high top in the back with sockets. "

Madrid may not have Barcelona’s reputation for excellence in design, but its broad sweep of architectural history provides a glorious backdrop to city life, from medieval mansions and royal palaces to the unimagined angles of Spanish contemporary architecture, from the sober brickwork and slate spires of Madrid baroque to the extravagant confections of the belle époque. En fin, Madrid done right never disappoints. This itinerary outlines the best way to spend a few days exploring my city with a range of restaurants and activities to choose from.
