I strongly believe that the best way to get in touch with the culture and traditions of a country is to visit different cities that identify it. As far as Spain is concerned, this concept is even stronger because Catalonia and Andalusia are similar in some ways but different in others and crossing different cities to get to know the different facets is the best thing and the one I recommend. This trip turned out to be wonderful and I hope it will be helpful to those who want to plan a tour similar to the one I did. Spain is a land that transmits positivity. The weather is almost always good and sunny, the people very sociable and helpful, the food very good and the culture very strong and identifying.

Joan Miró Foundation

The Joan Miró Foundation, located on Montjuïc hill in Barcelona, is a museum dedicated to the works of the renowned Catalan artist Joan Miró. The foundation houses a vast collection of Miró's paintings, sculptures, and graphic works, providing visitors with insight into the artist's creative process and evolution of his style. The building itself is an architectural gem designed by Josep Lluís Sert, a close friend of Miró.

This museum showcases the work of Joan Miró, a famous 20th-century Catalan artist known for his surrealist style. The foundation's building itself is a modernist masterpiece, and the collection offers a fascinating glimpse into Miró's creative mind.
How to get there: Metro (L3 to Diagonal station) or Bus Turístic.

This museum showcases the works of the surrealist artist Joan Miró and is set in the beautiful surroundings of Montjuïc Park.
Free Entrance: Every Saturday from 3 pm onwards and the first Sunday of each month.

It’s not overwhelming, so you can enjoy it at your own pace. Plus, the outdoor terraces with sculptures are a nice bonus! Definitely a must if you’re into modern art.

It was impressive in terms of both structure and works. Miro lovers should see it.
