Livio Colapinto
"Hidden gem, located inside the marvelous Bagatti Valsecchi Palace, Salumaio di Montenapoleone is a piece of the most authentic Milan, which brings with it the soul and tradition of an active and cultured, dynamic and refined city, linked to its roots. Expect the food to be of prime quility and pricey. All references sold at the attached deli store are the result of a long selection process, from the pasta maker to the best Parma ham, or Culatello. The restaurant is elegant and refined with a beautiful courtyard and exceptional service, surrounded by the evocative Renaissance setting of the outdoor area. The menu feature fresh pasta, meat and fish accompanied by a daily seasonal proposals. The historic residence, is considered one of the most important museum houses in Europe, and is open to the public Tuesday to Sunday, 1pm to 5:45 pm. Good for a visit before aperitivo and dinner!!!"
