Milan - the trend setter

Laura Dehelean
Indulge yourself in the luxurious Italian lifestyle (as Milan is the wealthiest city in the country) and set your standards as high as the Milanese people do (epecially when it comes to fashion đŸ§„đŸ‘ đŸ‘œ). đŸ’¶Shop 'til you drop in some of the best outlets/boutiques/flagship stores then spoil your taste buds with some glorious flavors that only the Lombardy area has to offer.

Shopping đŸ›ïž

This city is one of the world’s fashion capitals! So many famous brands are to be found here and there is no wonder you’d rather take home this type of “souvenirs” but at decent prices - therefore the outlets below, which I would totally recommend you to pay a visit to! Of course, if budget is not an issue, then
the sky is the limit!

Designer Outlet Serravalle
@lauradehel
Designer Outlet Serravalle is a top fashion outlet and quaint shopping village with town squares, fountains, walkable avenues and, of course, places to eat and drink. It’s about an hour from Milan and is one of Europe's most prominent shopping outlets, with hundreds of boutique shops spread over 37,000 square metres of space. Your shopping extravaganza here allows you to grab the latest fashions from Armani, Burberry, Bvlgari, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Prada, Versace and many others. Discounts range between 30% to 70% off all year long. Aside from clothing, you’ll find home furnishing, cosmetics, accessories and other items. The village also offers a kids’ play area for the little ones.

Vigano' Alta Moda/ViganĂČ Milano1919 - bottega
@lauradehel
A part of Milanese history, a beautiful bottega selling bijoux and embroidery supplies in 5 minutes from Duomo has recently got viral on social media for its personalized bracelets. When you enter inside you're given a box where you can put any charms that you want to use. Then they adjust a chain to the size of your wrist and give you a clasp so you can finish creating your bracelet yourself at home. The price is about 15 euro.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Laura Dehelean
Hi! đŸ€— I’m Laura - born and grown nearby the Romanian coasts of the Black Sea, in Constanta (a city with great history which I invite you all to visit and enjoy). This city and its surroundings, with beautiful, wide beaches have always drawn lots of tourists, thus
 I have been working in the hospitality industry for quite a while now. Of course, I enjoy more being a tourist myself 😁(or perhaps
should I say “a traveler”?). In the past few years I have travelled across Europe (and most of its capitals and big cities) and found out many special places which I longed to share with others (it would have been a pity not being able to do so nowadays). So, thanks to Thatch I can provide some lists to help me and my friends out along our journeys - and, hopefully, other Thatchers as well. P.S.1 I am always open to suggestions or feedback on how to improve the info that I’m sharing. P.S.2 I am passionate about my shopping, therefore all my guides shall always include shopping venues that mainly sell authentic brands - bespoke souvenirs are what we want to take home with us, right? P.S.3 My guides shall always include many venues/places because I like options. Personally, I wouldn’t cross half a city just to get to a specific restaurant
after a long day, in particular, I would rather find a good spot close to the hotel that I’m staying at (or somewhere in that area). Moreover, different trips in the same city could target a totally different area and wouldn’t it be nice to explore its best by knowing all the variety of services/products available around?
