Conveniently discover the highlights of Prague in one day, all without a car. I travelled to Prague by train, which I highly recommend due to the station's convenient location.

As always, I highly recommend dropping off your bags at your accommodation before doing the majority of sightseeing to avoid overexertion. If you aren't spending the night in Prague, there is a left-luggage storage location within Praha Hlavní Nádraží. Alternatively, you can use an online luggage storage service, like Bounce, to stow your items for the day.

Now that you have dropped off your luggage, it's time to begin exploring!

Using a combination of public transport and walking, you'll be able to see:

Bruselský pavilon

I couldn't find much information on this place, but it is a good location to begin the walk through the park towards Prague Castle!

Letná Park
@sarahsolotravels
A great park to walk through to make your way to the castle complex! Although mostly uphill, it was a much more gradual route than entering from the other end of the complex, where I saw people struggling up many steps. It also gives great views of the city and castle!

Prague Castle
@sarahsolotravels
In my opinion, the best part of Prague. The castle complex is stunning, and for such a cheap price as well, it is truly a must-see. A ticket includes entry to multiple buildings in the castle complex, including St. Vitus' Cathedral and Golden Lane.

St. Vitus Cathedral

The pictures here don't fully encapsulate the beauty of this cathedral. I've been to ones all over Europe, and this was by far my favorite.

Golden Lane
@sarahsolotravels
Although these houses were built in the 1500s, they weren't painted these bright colors until the 1950s. Inside the houses, there are exhibitions and shops selling goods from local artists.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Sarah J.
I am a solo female traveler who likes to explore on a moderate budget; I think it's important to recognize that some opportunities when travelling will never arise again, and it's worth shelling out for them! I prefer to travel very fast-paced, and my guides will reflect that. In order to accomplish this, I have done lots of research about every place I have visited to ensure I use my time wisely. I have only travelled around Europe so far, but I am hoping to expand my horizons in the coming years :)
