"We used the GetYourGuide Skip the Line tickets as the box office had a long line. It will be attached below.
Prague Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is one of the largest and oldest castles in the world, dating back to the 9th century. It encompasses a variety of architectural styles and houses important cultural and historical treasures, including the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, and the Golden Lane.
Plan to spend several hours exploring the castle complex and its stunning gardens. Arrive early to avoid crowds, and don't miss the Changing of the Guard ceremony, which takes place at the main entrance every hour.
According to the Guinness Book of Records, Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle in the world, covering an area of almost 70,000 square meters. The castle has been the seat of Czech kings, emperors, and presidents for over a thousand years, making it a symbol of Czech history and culture.

"Prague Castle, the official residence and office of the Czech president, is a historic complex dating back to the 9th century. It has served as a residence for Bohemian monarchs, Holy Roman emperors, and Czechoslovak presidents. The castle includes a secret room with the Bohemian Crown Jewels. Its origins trace back to the Church of the Virgin Mary, built in 870, and the Basilica of Saint George and the Basilica of St. Vitus, established in the 10th century. Prague Castle showcases a mix of architectural styles from various periods, reflecting its long history. It includes Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque structures like St. George’s Basilica, St. Vitus Cathedral, and several palaces and gardens. Visitors can explore most areas of the castle, which houses museums such as the National Gallery's Bohemian Baroque collection, the Toy Museum, and the Prague Castle Picture Gallery. The Burgrave Palace courtyard also hosts the Summer Shakespeare Festival."
