"The Waldstein Garden, designed in the Italian manneristic park style, reflects the personal input of Albrecht Waldstein and artist Adrian de Vries. It is divided into two distinct sections. The larger section features Prague's largest Sala Terrena and a fountain with a Venus and Cupid sculpture, relocated to a marble pond in 1910. This area also includes a mysterious man-made stalactite wall, where visitors might spot hidden faces and creatures like frogs and snakes. The smaller section contains a large pond with an artificial island, where a sculpture of Hercules stands ready to battle a dragon, as well as the Riding Hall and a glasshouse."

"This strictly geometrically designed early Baroque garden was created in parallel with the construction of the Wallenstein Palace from 1623 to 1629. At first sight, one's eyes are drawn to the massive sala pavilion, which at the time of its construction was unprecedented, and an artificial cave with stalactites (grotto). In summer the garden is the venue for concerts and theatrical performances."

"The 17th-century Gardens of the Senate Palace feature decorative ponds and Baroque statues (open to the public from April to October).
It is a beautiful place to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the architecture, flora and fauna. If you're lucky, you might even spot one of the many peacocks!"
