Day 1: Welcome to New York City

Upon your arrival at JFK, swiftly check into your hotel, freshen up with a quick shower, and prepare to immerse yourself in the bustling streets of the city that never sleeps.

Embark on a leisurely stroll through the iconic landmarks of St. Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center, marveling at the stunning architecture and vibrant atmosphere. Then, venture off to the dazzling lights and electrifying energy of Times Square, experiencing the heartbeat of the city at its most vibrant.

End the day with a delicious dinner at Bubba Gump ($$), savouring classic dishes such as fish & chips and Jenny's special. Afterward, retreat to your hotel for a peaceful night's rest.

Useful Insights:

- Before entering the US, ensure you have a visa. Airport checks take min. 30-45 minutes, but save time with Mobile Passport Control (MPC), an app streamlining entry, allowing some to skip lines.

- From JFK to Manhattan: 50 mins - 1.5 hrs. Taxis/Uber: ~$100. Cheaper option: Take AirTrain to Jamaica/Howard Beach, then subway. AirTrain costs $7.75, subway fare is $2.90.

- Use tap&go with OMNY for metro tickets, not subscriptions. After 12 rides in a week ($33), additional rides are free. Count resets weekly.
