As big & intimidating as New York City can seem, living in & traveling here with kids is awesome. The city has a lot of unique experiences that my kids love, and I also love doing with them! Highlights of these activities include: 🎨 Interactive Children's Museums 🧑‍🎨 Arts & crafts activities 🧒 Places to play 🧑‍🍳 And even a cooking class! It includes activities in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, & even Coney Island! When visiting (or living in) this concrete jungle, you may find yourself in need of a little time in the great outdoors. And while we can't really give you much of the great outdoors in NYC, there are plenty of activities to get into on a warm summer day. Better yet, most of these activities are totally free.
