"Of course the list will start wih The Metropolitan Museum of Art. This museum is HUGE and you an think that you’d need at least half day to spend, but that’s not the case. 1. Know the closing time The Met is open everyday, and on Friday and Saturday night it's open until 9 pm! So you can pay a visit on a Friday night, after 7pm, when everybody else is gettin drunk and tgif-ing. 2. Focus on an era or sections The Met has 18 different collection areas: https://www.metmuseum.org/about-the-met/collection-areas"

"The Met museum is filled with master works of art. You could spend 2 hours, 2 days, or 2 weeks and you still wouldn’t see it all. But definitely soak in what you can on each visit. Fun fact: if you’re a student or NYC resident, the cost is pay what you wish. If you’re not feeling the art museum vibes today, try bringing a book and a coffee to read on the famous Met steps. You’re bound to have excellent people watching and feel like you’re in the thick of NYC. "
