The core of downtown CDMX

Absolutely gorgeous build with spectacular gardens surrounding. On the weekends there are loads of people around, street vendors etc.

Very small museum. Pretty much one room with one amazing and very large mural. The detail, the symbolism and history behind the characters in this painting is incredible.

The place to watch Luche Libre (aka Mexican Wrestling). It’s a cultural experience to be sure. Very family friendly show.

Another neighbourhood in CDMX. Ultra cool. Old mansions, tree lined streets. Cafes, restaurants, vintage, street art etc.

The main park of the Roma area. Great place to wander and start your Roma discovery!

Pretty standard modern/contemporary museum

This is more of a day trip just outside CDMX. It is the town where Frida Kahlo (the most famous Mexican in all likelihood ) grew up. It’s a great museum dedicated to her life and work and super cute small town. Highly recommend!

Close to the Frida Kahlo museum is the home Of Leon Strotsky, a Russian who found political excile in Mexico. Cool place

Hotel located in Roma. A small spot, artist forward!

Standard W hotel. Located in the amazing Polanco neighborhood. Polanco is a high end residential neighborhood. It’s just lovely! Although Polanco is on CDMX proper it is somewhat on the periphery of the city vs the Roma neighborhood

One of the best restaurants in the world. The interesting use od Mexican ingredients is delicious and memorable. It’s very high end.

Wonderful churros/hot chocolate/coffee spot. In Polanco.
