This is one of the restaurants we really wanted to dine at for a date night, but the tiredness of the filming days didn't give us the energy to go. This part of town has a laid-back, bohemian vibe, and this restaurant offers the same kind of ambiance. It's famous for its seafood! We would have definitely ordered the pescado a la talla, as it was the dish featured in Eva Longoria's "Searching for Mexico" series.

7 PM - We made reservations for dinner. Tried the ceviche contramar (sole fish) and the whole grilled fish with half red adobo rub and half parsley rub). The ceviche was tasty, and the fish was quite soft. I personally didn’t like the red adobo rub too much since it was a little spicy for me. The parsley rub was delicious, although a little on the salty side 

Chef Gabriela Cámara's Contramar beckons seafood enthusiasts to a coastal paradise celebrated for its iconic tuna tostadas and a delightful array of fresh, lively dishes. With its lively yet laid-back ambiance and outstanding seafood creations, it's a culinary hotspot no food lover should overlook in Mexico City.

extremely iconic and delicious. the tuna tostada is essential. the jamaica mezcal may be my favorite cocktail in the world. and the deserts. go and sit for 6 hours forreal. 

Recommended dishes: Pescado a la talla, Tostada de atún, and the Merengue and/or Torta de higos for dessert. 

Famous for its seafood, particularly the tuna tostadas and pescado a la talla. A must-visit for foodies.
