Breakfast
Modern Bread and Bagel
@jefffox
You have probably seen this place on IG, online, or just in your dreams quite frankly. Gluten free bagels will never be the same after visiting this spot. Best part? The bagels are the draw in, but you stay for the coconut crusted french toast sticks, breakfast burrito, and slices of their cinnamon roll bread.
My words don't do justice for how good this place really is. Don't worry, the people that work there wont' judge when you take two dozen bagels back home (knowing they will only last a week or two).
This place is completely gluten free and celiac safe. Have a ball!

It's one thing when you find a sushi place that is incredibly safe for gluten free/celiac, but another when there are multiple locations!! You don't have to go to far to find one of these awesome spots. Hand rolls are a can't miss and they have gf soy sauce!
Just give them a heads up of the allergy/celiac so they can take care of things!

If there was a "breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert" section of this guide, this place would be there. They do it all throughout the day and it is all gluten free. From sandwiches to cakes to croissants, they have your gf needs. It's completely safe for those with celiac as well!

Dinner
Laser Wolf Brooklyn
@jefffox
Stay away from the pita and you are set! This place has an awesome setup where you order a protein and your meal comes with salatim (mini plates of apps) along with dessert! Food is killer - try not to fill up too much on the salatim so you have room for the main and dessert. Who am I kidding, I can't help but stuff myself with the amazing hummus.

Senza Gluten
@jefffox
Literally says no gluten in the name! This is a place where you go and order one of everything becaus you know you don't have to worry about it being celiac safe.
Pastas, entrees, and all the apps you could hope for. Italy brought to the states and the gluten was left behind!

You can't go to NY and not get pizza! Well, this is a bit different than NY style pizza, but it won't disappoint. They do Detroit style (think Jets style pizza) that isn't going to have you missing a classic NY slice. They do some fun and funky things with the toppings, so go crazy.
This place is gluten free and friendly - just urge them to cook the food separately as it isn't an entirely gluten free facility.

Soothr
@jefffox
Thai food is usually great with accommodating gluten free and Soothr doesn't miss the mark. Items are clearly marked on the menu to make it straightforward and easy. Shrimp pad Thai is a must.

Posh Pop Bakeshop

They have gluten free funnel cakes. Do I really need to say any more...?
Fine, since you insist. Gluten free brownies, cheesecake, cake slices (or full cakes), donuts, and so much more. There are wildly unique flavors of everything so it is easy to never get bored of this place.
It is entirely gluten free (not all dairy free), so you don't have to worry!

Levain Bakery - 74th Street
@jefffox
This is the kind of place you see on IG where they rip the cookie in half and you think...."wow, I wish that was gluten free". Well, today is how many years old you are when you find out that Levain has a gluten free (and dairy free) cookie!
It tastes delicious and looks like the real deal. They are generally pretty good about these with safety, but they are not made in an entirely celiac friendly bakery.
