What people say

"Nami Nori is a 100% GF "casual temaki bar specializing in open-style sushi hand rolls." Their mission has been to make high-quality sushi accessible to everyone (not just at Michelin star prices). They cater to the younger New York community with their messaging and interior design choices. If sushi isn't really your thing, you can skip the temaki counter and order from the kitchen. Some of their dishes include shishito peppers, crispy calamari, and veggie miso soup. Their food is so delicious they've been featured in The New York Times quite a few times. And did I mention that the 3 head chefs all came from the only sushi restaurant in America with 3 Michelin stars? Highly recommend making a reservation in advance for Nami Nori."

"$$ | Sets starting at $28 They now have 3 locations and one recently opened in Montclair, New Jesery. They focus on handrolls and keeping their seaweed fresh. If you are not enjoying at the counter they wrap each side of your roll in plastic with cute easy to follow instructions on how to remove it. If you make your own set this gets $$$ but for a quick lunch or take out it's fun to try the signature set! You can always add caviar if you're feeling crazy. Apps to get: calamari, cucumbers, spicy tuna dip, furikake fries"

"It's one thing when you find a sushi place that is incredibly safe for gluten free/celiac, but another when there are multiple locations!! You don't have to go to far to find one of these awesome spots. Hand rolls are a can't miss and they have gf soy sauce! Just give them a heads up of the allergy/celiac so they can take care of things!"
