Where is Florence?

Florence (Firenze) is located in the heart of Tuscany, Italy, and is renowned as the birthplace of the Renaissance. This historic city is famous for its stunning art, architecture, and cultural heritage.

A Short History of Florence:

Florence began as a Roman settlement and grew into a thriving medieval city-state. By the 15th century, it became the center of the Renaissance, attracting artists, scholars, and architects such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Brunelleschi. The Medici family played a crucial role in its cultural and political growth, leaving behind a legacy of art and architecture that still defines the city today.

How to Get There?

By Trenitalia:

Florence is well-connected by train, and you can easily reach it from major Italian cities like Rome, Milan, or Bologna via Trenitalia. Florence's main train station is Santa Maria Novella.

By FlixBus:

If you choose FlixBus, youโ€™ll arrive at Villa Costanza bus station. From there, you can take a direct tram to the city center. The tram ticket costs โ‚ฌ1.50.
