Taiwan has a varied topography, ranging from plains, basins, and hills to coastlines. It is especially rich in mountain and forest resources. Its mountainous areas cover about 73.64% of the area, and alpine regions with altitudes above 1,000 meters account for 46.73%. This small island has seven mountain ranges, including Jade Mountain, the highest peak in East Asia. Therefore, the government has built many beautiful and unique trails for tourists to go and learn about the importance of ecological conservation and get close to nature.
On the basis of these forest activities, this guide lists popular trails in Taiwan that beginners can easily access to the mountains and forests for your reference. Each trail is suitable for those who love nature, want to get away from the hustle and bustle, and love hiking.
Before reading the guide, I would like to add that since most of the trails are in the suburbs, you need to drive there. If you do not have a car, the guide also lists trails that can be reached by public transportation to meet different needs. Please evaluate your needs when planning your itinerary.

A guide to the top ten hot springs that travelers must revel in when visiting Taiwan!
Hot springs are one of Taiwan's characteristics. Due to Taiwan's special geological structure, located in the Ring of Fire, geothermal heat spreads throughout the country. Overall, there are 128 hot springs with signs; that is to say, traces of hot springs can be noticed in almost every city on the island. It is no exaggeration to name Taiwan as the kingdom of hot springs. As a hot spring lover, I found few places to get hot spring baths in the UK, which makes me miss the hot springs in my hometown. In addition, it also motivates me to share the beauty of hot springs in Taiwan with hot spring lovers from all over the world. Thus, this guide is listed. Come and roam in Taiwan!

Taiwan, surrounded by the sea on all sides, has magnificent mountains, diverse landscapes, and natural resources. It is a small and densely populated country, so many highways have been built for transportation and connectivity. Regarding transportation options, I like to drive, and I've had a lot of experience driving around the world, such as Iceland, Armenia, and Romania. However, after such a journey, I think there are many highways and scenic spots in Taiwan that are not inferior to those in the rest of the world, and there are not a few highways with high mountains and dangerous roads that lead to the sea. Therefore, the highways in Taiwan shared in this guidebook mainly focus on the spectacular and beautiful scenery along the way; it also lists the three must-see scenic spots along each highway and introduces them from north to south. To give travelers in Taiwan can have a richer and more diverse travel experience.
But to add, if you want to find a historical and cultural or food-oriented highway, this list may not be the desire of the family, you can come to consult me. I will be delighted to be able to provide richer and will make you reminiscent of the attractions.
