Due to the expansiveness of Patagonia - over 400,000 square miles - and the fact it encompasses the southern end of South America, governed by Argentina and Chile; this is one of the more remote places to reach in the world.
The region comprises the southern section of the Andes Mountains with lakes, fjords, temperate rainforests, and glaciers in the west and deserts, tablelands and steppes to the east.
This itinerary was designed to experience a couple key areas of Patagonia on both the Argentinian side and the Chilean side; in a condensed amount of time.
The focus of the itinerary is on Glaciers National Park, outside of El Calafate; and Torres del Paine National Park in Chile.
The itinerary easily combines both countries, however, you can separate them out if you just want to focus on one area of Patagonia, and expand your touring from there.
The itinerary will include additional places to say based on budget, mid-budget and luxury accomodations; as well as recommended restaurants, and optional tours and activities.

This Costa Rica waterfall guide is the result of over 1 month spent exploring the country, dozens of hours of planning, and my in-person experience. It covers 13 waterfalls in 3 general regions of Costa Rica: La Fortuna, Santa Teresa, and Dominical/Uvita. These falls range from the country’s most popular waterfalls to many of my secret hidden gems (where we were the only tourists with the whole falls to ourselves!!) and even one waterfall where you can sleep behind the falls!
The guide includes an fun features such as an interactive map, directions that connect directly to your phone’s Google or Apple Maps app, and the exact coordinates to each waterfall.
It lays out detailed instructions to help you plan your perfect trip to each of the waterfalls. It’s mobile friendly when you download the Thatch App for free so you can easily access all of the info right from your phone!

Nederland is a small former mining community just up the canyon from the town of Boulder, known for quirky small town vibes and stunning views. Of course you can use this guide easily with Boulder as your home base, but everything we've included here is actually in the mountains. This area is a bit less traveled than areas in the I-70 corridor, and thus it's a bit more locals-oriented, with all the fun of the more touristy areas. Just an hour drive from downtown Denver, this area is not to be missed!
Inside you'll find suggested itineraries for two days of fun, that include:
-Lodging options
-Restaurant options with fall-forward vibes (ALL have both Gluten Free and Vegetarian options)
-Best hikes for viewing foliage, all in the easy-moderate range of difficulty
-Suggestions for scenic leaf-peeping drives
-Suggestions for epic sunset-viewing spots
The best part is that ALL of these spots are vetted and dog-friendly, meaning you never have to make arrangements for leaving your doggo behind if you don't want to.
