I can speak from experience as a solo female traveler when I say that booking a hotel, hostel, or bed & breakfast takes a lot of time and careful planning.
Prior to choosing a place to stay, it is important to carefully weigh factors including price, location, amenities, and room alternatives.
I've curated a list of places I've stayed when traveling throughout Japan in this guide.

Japan has a huge culture of soaking in hot springs called onsens - this grew to be one of my absolute favorite parts of Japanese culture! During my time living there, I found myself visiting my local onsen at least twice a week (not kidding!). I found it to be the perfect way to spend alone time, relax, and fully reset.
Japan is home to over 25,000 onsens and it is deeply engrained into Japanese culture. It's not uncommon in Japan for friends, families, or couples to take weekend trips to visit an onsen and its surrounding areas. Known for healing properties, a way to decompress and rejuvenate, and an escape from busy city life - it's a must-try when in Japan!

Japan is huge and there are many areas to cover. You have to Plan your trip and destinations based on location especially with kids, because you can only use train for the cheapest transportation in Japan, as we know taxi is soooo expensive!
There's also a lots to see and to eat in Japan.
And in case you haven’t noticed; me and my family love Japan.
