It's perfect if you are on a tight schedule but still want to make the most out of it The itinerary is with renting a camper or a car in mind. You can either choose a budget version with camping or be more comfortable with apartments on the way. I very quickly discovered that Iceland is as expensive as they say but I also discovered it can be explored on a low budget. If you choose the most basic option (camping and hitchhiking) you can expect 30€ a day. If you prefer hostels and public transport or bus tours you can expect anything from 40 to 150€ a day.
