Results for Copenhagen Road Trip

My travel experience for Denmark and Sweden is mostly in the Copenhagen area and southern Sweden. One great idea to see and explore both countries is to do a 4 day trip around the Copenhagen Sound. You literally will make a circle around it. You should start in Copenhagen, whether you are flying in or not it is a central location to begin. Both Denmark and Sweden have easy and reliable public transportation. You can purchase a ticket to travel from Copenhagen to the Swedish cities of Malmö, Lund, and Helsingborg. A stop in Malmö and Lund is recommended. You can check out my destination itinerary for Lund. Once in Helsingborg, you will need to take a ferry to cross back into Denmark. Helsingør or Elsingør, is a historic and quaint small city with much history and beautiful architecture to admire. You can also make this journey on bike. You may want to use the train and ferry to cross the water, but it is also a beautiful bike trip if you have a few extra days to bike. You could also reverse this trip the go from Copenhagen to Helsingør to Sweden. Either way, this is a wonderful trip to visit both countries in a few days. I've highlighted hotels, restaurants, and sightseeing that I have highly enjoyed while traveling to these cities.

Dear fashionistas, thrift shops lovers, tourists & even locals! This guide is your must-have to discover the local fashion of Copenhagen or top up your wardrobe with new luxury pre-loved gem! Even though my schedule was so busy during Copenhagen Fashion Week, I made sure to visit these shops in between the fashion shows & events. First thing to mention, most of the vintage stores look that fresh & modern, so you can barely call them 'vintage' :) From timeless Chanel handbags to iconic Dior dresses, each boutique is a treasure trove of high-end fashion pieces. Wanna get a vintage LV bag in great condition for such a fair price? Get ready to browse the retro-chic finds while giggling at quirky accessories. With every step, you'll uncover a new delight, whether it's a bold pair of sunglasses from the '70s or a flamboyant fur coat straight out of a retro spy thriller. What sets Copenhagen's vintage scene apart is its unique blend of Danish humor & eccentricity, adding a playful twist to your shopping experience. So grab this list & go discover the local charm of the city! If you tag me on Insta @emily.varr - you can get this guide for free!

Active volcanoes. Dancing northern lights. Gushing geysers. Massive glaciers. Thermal hot springs. Thundering waterfalls. Iceland is the ultimate adventure destination. How have you not been here yet? It’s finally time. Start in the northernmost capital in the world. Reykjavik is a hip, modern city. Then start exploring the wild coastline, the sheep-filled countryside, the icy interior, and the peaceful islands. There are plenty of black-sand beaches, small fishing villages, turf-roofed houses, and epic hikes along the way. Just remember to pack layers. Sometimes, the Gulf Stream provides moderate temperatures. Other times, it’ll feel like you’re in the Arctic. Also don’t forget the long, dark winters and the 24-hour daylight during the short summers. If you take advantage of Icelandair’s free stopover program—a great excuse to visit Helsinki, Copenhagen, and even Paris—you can keep returning to discover which season you like best.
