For 1 or 2 people: One bedroom, one bathroom. For up to 4 people: One bedroom, one bathroom + a sofa bed. For up to 6 people: Two bedrooms, one bathroom + a sofa bed. We stayed in the One Bedroom Apartment as there was just 2 of us. Fully Equipped Kitchen: Open daily from 6 am to midnight, it’s great for saving money by cooking your own meals. 40 m² Pool: Open daily from 6 am to 10 pm for about $3 per person/hour—perfect for relaxing after a day of walking around the city. Gym: Also open daily from 6 am to 10 pm for $3 per person for 2 hours—ideal if you like to keep active while traveling. In-House Cinema: Cozy up with up to 25 people for a movie night. Laundry Room: Super convenient for long trips (available for a fee). Bike Rentals: Explore Copenhagen like a local by renting a bike (for a fee). Free Workspace and Wi-Fi: Handy for remote workers or just staying connected. Parking: 60 spots available (for a fee) If you’re lucky enough to snag a room on the upper floors, you’ll be treated to some pretty incredible views of the city (sadly, my room wasn’t up there, but I can imagine!). For solo female travelers, this hostel felt incredibly safe and welcoming. The female-only dorms were clean, secure, and comfortable, and the location made it easy to explore Copenhagen’s highlights. This hotel’s central location made it easy for everyone to explore Copenhagen’s main attractions, from Nyhavn to Amalienborg Palace, all within walking distance. Designed by the renowned Danish architect Kim Utzon, the hotel boasts a minimalist aesthetic that combines style and practicality, offering great value for money. Note: Wakeup Copenhagen has two other locations—one near Tivoli Gardens (Carsten Niebuhrs Gade) and the other by the Kalvebod Brygge waterfront. I can’t speak for those, but the Borgergade location was ideal for our wedding events and guest convenience. Why I Recommend It Even though I didn’t stay there personally, Wakeup Copenhagen Borgergade checked all the boxes for our wedding guests. It’s affordable, clean, safe, and so conveniently located.
