Copenhagen Stays 🛋️

Copenhagen Stays 🛋️

As of now, I've been Copenhagen twice: • Once as a solo female traveller back in 2019 while backpacking around Europe, • And the second time with family & friends when my husband and I got married at Copenhagen City Centre. 💍 This is honestly one of my favourite cities in the world and the place I've felt the safest while traveling. The city is super safe, clean, people are the most welcoming and the food taste great (surprisingly). I'm really looking forward to visit the city again. So, where should you stay? - Here's some of our recs

💌 Our Top Pick! - Boutique Hotel

Eric Vökel Copenhagen Suites
@TootlyTravels
Boutique Hotel with 24/7 self check-in. We spent 4 nights there for our wedding and really liked it. Located in a renovated building that kept its original Danish-style façade. We picked it as our accommodation for our wedding for its great location as it is very close to the Central Station & Tivoli Gardens. The hotel offers 3 types of apartments, all with fully-equipped kitchens: - For 1 or 2 people: One bedroom with one bathroom. - For up to 4 people: One bedroom, one bathroom + a sofa bed. - For up to 6 people: 2 bedrooms, one bathroom + one sofa bed. The hotel also offers a lot of services: - Wi-Fi - Luggage storage 24/7 - Reception from 9 am to 5 pm daily - Elevator - safety deposit box in each room - AC & Heating - Cleaning product kit - Bed linen + towels, hair-dryer and soap - washing machine + dryer - Iron + ironing board - crib and high-chair for kids (on request) - Nespresso coffee machine & kettle My tips for getting the best price: 1. Always check multiple websites (Booking, Expedia) as well as the hotel's own website as they sometimes offer cheaper fees than comparing websites. 2. If you book directly on their website (see link below), you will get a free breakfast. Their platform is not the best to show you the rooms' availability so my advice is to check first on Booking.com to see prices and availability and then check on the hotel's website if their prices are cheaper on these dates.

Budget: Best Hostel

Steel House Copenhagen
@TootlyTravels
Industrial Chic Hostel (With Swimming pool & Gym). I stayed at this hostel for 2 nights (in a a 6 beds female only dorm) on my first solo trip to Copenhagen. I've stayed in a lot of hostels in my life and always spend many hours researching the safest and cleanest hotels and this hostel delivered! My tips: Check the prices directly on the hostel's own websites (when I went there, prices were a bit cheaper there than via Hostelworld) but my advice is to always check prices on different platforms before you book. For this one, I would advise you to compare the prices and cancellations policies on 3 websites: 1. Hostelworld 2. The hostel's own website 3. Booking On their own websites, last time I checked (August 2023), prices started at 145DKK per night ($21 / 19.5€ / £17). The have a lot of cool facilities such as : - Game Room, - Bar (food & drinks + events), - Fully equipped kitchen where you can store your food and cook your own meals (Open daily from 6 am to midnight, - 40 m2 Pool: open daily from 6 am to 10 pm for about 3$ / 2.3£ / 2.7 EUR per person per hour (perfect after a long day of walking), - Gym (Open daily from 6 am to 10 pm for about 3$ per person for 2 hours) - In-House Cinema (up to 25 people) - Laundry Room (for a fee) - 60 Parking Spots (for a fee) - Free Work Space - FREE WI-FI - You can rent a bike for a fee If you manage to get a room on the top floors, you can get a pretty good view of the city :) (Unfortunately my room wasn't on a top floor ^^)

Affordable

Safe & affordable hotel in Central Copenhagen.

Wakeup Copenhagen
@TootlyTravels
I didn't stay there personally but we booked rooms at this hotel for our wedding guests and they all loved it! They have 3 locations in Copenhagen but the one we booked is the one located in Copenhagen Borgergade so I can't speak for their other locations. Wakeup Copenhagen in Borgergade is located in the centre of Copenhagen and designed by the famous Danish architect Kim Utzon. The hotel is characterised by minimalist design and high quality. Very Popular choice due to its central location and affordable rates. To secure the best room at a great price, book your stay well in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons! The hotel has two locations in Copenhagen, one near Tivoli Gardens (Wakeup Copenhagen, Carsten Niebuhrs Gade) and the other near the Kalvebod Brygge waterfront (Wakeup Copenhagen, Borgergade). Consider the proximity to your preferred attractions and activities when selecting your hotel. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore many of Copenhagen's attractions on foot or by renting a bike. Take advantage of the city's bike-friendly infrastructure to see the sights efficiently. Each room offers: FREE WI-FI, TV and desk, AC and Heating. Hotel Amenities: - 24/7 staffed reception - Express check-out & self check-in - Business center - Breakfast (for a fee - you can get better quality food for the same price if not cheaper outside of the hotel) - Bikes Rental - Parking Facilities (for a fee) - Ironing Room - Luggage Storage
