Ghana is an incredible country filled with friendly people and plenty to explore.
While 10 days is a bit of a whirlwind, itโs enough time to get a solid taste of Ghanaโculture, history, nature, and a bit of adventure all wrapped up between Accra and Cape Coast. Iโve designed this itinerary to strike the right balance between activities and downtime, so you can get the most out of your trip without feeling totally wiped out by the end.
Iโve also organized each dayโs activities in a way that makes the most sense for efficiency (and to avoid too much time stuck in Accraโs traffic). Trust me, a little strategic planning goes a long way here.
I donโt recommend a lot of specific restaurants unless theyโre near the stops and I can vouch for them. Ghana has plenty of hidden gems when it comes to casual dining, so itโs best to go with the flow and choose a spot close by when you get hungry. Just donโt wait until youโre starvingโfood prep in Ghana can take a bit of time. That said, street food and chop bars (local eateries with ready-made dishes) are great, fast options when youโre on the go.
There are certain activities where you'll need to hire a driver. I can easily recommend Junior. He knows everywhere and everyone and he's a great driver. His specialty is Cape Coast, but he's very well-versed in Accra, too. Just call or WhatsApp him to make arrangements: +233 024 473 6171.
If Junior isn't available, just ask at your hotel or hit up a Bolt driver that you like and think will give you a fair price, (always negotiate first).
Two apps youโll want to download for your trip
Bolt - Itโs like Uber, but local, and it works in both Accra and Cape Coast.
Pro Tip: Always opt to pay in cash when using Bolt. Trust me on this โ drivers are much more motivated to show up when they know thereโs cash waiting at the end of the ride!
Glovo โ Food delivery in Accra. If your hotel doesnโt have a restaurant and you just donโt feel like going out, this is a good way to get fed. It can be slow, though, so order early.

South Africa is a multifaceted country filled with magical outdoor adventures that dreams are made of. In this stunning part of the world, you can feel the rush of adrenaline while coming face to face with lions, sleep under the stars in the โbushโ, acquaint yourself with local cultures, & experience fabulous weather & history-rich locations along the way.
In 2019, I made my first trip to South Africa. It had been a dream of mine to visit the rainbow nation since I was a child & SA didnโt dissappoint. I immediately fell in love with the country from the people to the landscapes I felt that I was suppose to be there.
I remember traveling into Cape Town by car from the garden route for the first time, with the sun setting over the ocean & โQueenโ on the radio I felt like this place was going to be home.
This guide will take you on a journey along the coast from Cape Town to Johannesburg or (vice versa) visiting some of the finest luxury hotels & camps that have a conservation / sustainable ethos along the way. Iโve also featured some of the very best experiences this nation has to offer. From swimming with great white sharks to getting up close & personal with lions in Kruger national park. This country truly makes for unforgettable experiences.
This itinerary can be from 2-4 weeks & is based on renting a car in Cape Town & dropping it off in Johannesburg (the most popular way to travel) as public transport is lacking here. There are other ways to travel from local flights to hop-on hop-off tourist buses that stop at the most famous sights if you canโt drive.

The Greek hidden gem
Corfu, known as Kerkyra in Greek, is a stunning island located in the Ionian Sea off the northwest coast of Greece. Its rich history dates back to ancient times, with influences from various cultures including the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Venetians, French, and British. This diverse cultural heritage is reflected in the island's architecture, cuisine, and traditions, making Corfu a unique destination in the Mediterranean.
The island's capital, Corfu Town, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its elegant Venetian architecture, narrow cobblestone streets, and historic landmarks. The Old Fortress and the New Fortress are prominent features, offering panoramic views of the town and the sea. Corfu Town also boasts numerous museums, such as the Archaeological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art, which showcase the island's rich history and cultural connections.
Corfu's natural beauty is another major draw for visitors. The island is known for its lush green landscapes, olive groves, and stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters. Some of the most popular beaches include Paleokastritsa, Glyfada, and Sidari, each offering a unique charm and a range of activities from sunbathing to water sports. Inland, the island is dotted with traditional villages, where visitors can experience local customs and hospitality.
In addition to its natural and architectural beauty, Corfu has a vibrant cultural scene. The island hosts various festivals and events throughout the year, celebrating everything from music and dance to religious traditions. The Corfu Easter celebrations are particularly famous, featuring processions, music, and the unique custom of "botides," where clay pots are thrown from balconies to mark the resurrection of Christ. This blend of tradition and festivity provides a lively atmosphere for both locals and tourists.
Corfu's cuisine is another highlight, influenced by its multicultural history. Traditional dishes often feature fresh seafood, locally grown vegetables, and olive oil. Some local specialties include "pastitsada" (a spicy meat stew with pasta), "sofrito" (veal in white wine and garlic sauce), and "bourdeto" (a spicy fish stew). The island's vineyards produce notable wines, and local olive oil is highly prized. Dining in Corfu offers a delightful exploration of flavours and culinary traditions, making it a paradise for food enthusiasts.
Accommodation is an important decision to make prior to planning your route but our firm suggestion is to stay somewhere in the northern part of the island. We chose to stay in Pyramid City Appartments - a budget friendly accommodation is the North-East side with great views to the Albanian coast but very poor connections.
The roads can get very narrow in this side of the isle therefore if you're not comfortable driving in other countries and with rental cars you're better off staying near Paleokastritsa with very good connections but less relax.

A day to day itinerary with what to do and see, accommodation recommendations for every budget and travel style and spots to eat as well as hidden gems.
The roadtrip sarts in Queenstown and includes stops on the way to the West Coast and all the way up to Westport.
Explore the rugged and wild coastline, waterfalls and rainforest, glaciers, windswept beaches or a geological wonder reminding of a pancake stack. Find your own pounamu (greestone), go gold panning and discover mining relics.
The guide comes with an interactive map showing you all the places and is compatible with the phone so that you can have the guide always with you.
As the weather is unpredictable on the West Coast you can always decide whether to stay longer or shorter in one place. With my guide you won't be short on options.
Have a great roadtrip!

Seeing all of the lighthouses we could find was the focus of this trip, but we found so much more along the way. Flying into Boston, Massachusetts we made our way along the coast all the way to Portland, Maine.
We stayed five nights and six days exploring all of the nooks and crannies we encountered. Lighthouses were definitely found and loved, but excitedly so was a fort built in the 1600's, a local bar with ties to a tragedy as well as part of a movie, a fabulously, politically incorrect tour, and even stayed in a witch's house. You will find all of these in this guide and so much more. Lighthouses, restaurants, tours, and oh my gosh, the best donuts you will find anywhere. This was an incredibly fun trip.
I also include many of the photos I took at each place.

Taiwan, surrounded by the sea on all sides, has magnificent mountains, diverse landscapes, and natural resources. It is a small and densely populated country, so many highways have been built for transportation and connectivity. Regarding transportation options, I like to drive, and I've had a lot of experience driving around the world, such as Iceland, Armenia, and Romania. However, after such a journey, I think there are many highways and scenic spots in Taiwan that are not inferior to those in the rest of the world, and there are not a few highways with high mountains and dangerous roads that lead to the sea. Therefore, the highways in Taiwan shared in this guidebook mainly focus on the spectacular and beautiful scenery along the way; it also lists the three must-see scenic spots along each highway and introduces them from north to south. To give travelers in Taiwan can have a richer and more diverse travel experience.
But to add, if you want to find a historical and cultural or food-oriented highway, this list may not be the desire of the family, you can come to consult me. I will be delighted to be able to provide richer and will make you reminiscent of the attractions.
