Day trip from Dubrovnik to Bay of Kotor, Montenegro

This is an absolutely beautiful place on beautiful water, not to mention an UNESCO world heritage site. If you're here with your dog, I would recommend some early morning walkies to beat the heat in the summer months as well as the traffic. The roads are very narrow and most of the time without sidewalks (depending on where you're staying). The water is beautiful turquoise blue, cool and most of the time very calm. Perfect for jumping in and cooling off, or just hanging out with your neighbors.

My husband and I were looking at places to go for our anniversary one day, hoping for a mix of what we both love when we travel.
