This is a three-day itinerary Starting from San Remo and Proceeding toward the border with France.
I have spent more than 15 years of my youth in Ospedaletti every summer and these are all the hidden gems that my local friends and I used to visit, particularly close to my heart.
I hope you will enjoy it!
To better enjoy this itinerary I suggest having a car, because the shifts from one location to the other, considering the public transport and the nearby mountains are much easier with it.

Thank you for your interest in my Sweet Life Italy itineraries. I hope you enjoy some of my suggestions for your next trip to Italy and visit some of the off the beaten path places I adore, like the village I live in, Guardia Sanframondi. If you do, please let me know in a message and maybe a photo.
As a travel consultant, I have been organizing bespoke tours all over France and Italy since 2012. I enjoy traveling and sharing my wonderful local small/slow travel experiences with the intension of helping small family businesses recover from the past couple of difficult years. I have more itineraries to share from around the world, so be on the look out.
I envision the Next Renaissance will be in the small towns and villages in Italy, where the people have lived close to the earth for generations, cultivating a simple but beautiful way of life we can all learn from. There is a shift away from big travel business, toward slow/small travel. It is the way I like to travel.
Enjoy! Buon Viaggio!! ...and please mention my name to the locals :)

Kölsch is THE beer in Cologne 🍻
It is the only beer in Germany to have a protected geographical status, similar to Bourbon in Kentucky or Champagne in France. In order to be called a Kölsch, the brewery *must* be within Cologne and follow strict standards.
Kölsch is a clear, light, and crisp lager that is warm fermented with top-fermenting yeast, then conditioned at cold temperatures like a lager. Picture easy summer drinking!
In these comprehensive beer guide, I will share all my favorite local Kölsch breweries and beer gardens.

Where should I go for good French pastries in Charleston? As a Charlestonian who used to call Paris home, I get asked this question a lot. And while nothing hits like the first croissant fresh off a plane in Paris, there are some really great local, authentic options when it comes to French cafes and bakeries in Charleston.
This is probably a combined result of Charleston and France’s shared history and the fact the Holy City is now a top foodie destination. Charleston’s French influence dates back to the late 1600s and early 1700s when a large group of French Huguenots fled France and settled in this area. This French influence is still apparent in the city of Charleston’s historic architecture, and there is still a beautifully preserved French Quarter downtown (featured in my hidden alley walking tour), which is where the majority of the best French cafes are located in Charleston.
This is my curated list of the 5 best spots to enjoy authentic French pastries and soak up some authentic French ambiance while visiting downtown Charleston, South Carolina.
