I've lived in Puerto Rico for over a year now and even though it's a small island there is a lot to see, do, and eat! When moving, my husband and I wanted to be in action so we chose the metro area of San Juan as our home base.
We are extremely close to Viejo San Juan and even though it can be a bit touristy, I always recommend it for first timers to the island!
In this free guide, you will get a sample of what my paid guides have to offer.
I've handpicked cafes, brunch, dessert, spots for sightseeing, a few bars (future guide for that one), local tips, and more!
Viejo San Juan can definitely be seen in a full day, as long as you have comfortable shoes! But, you can also split this guide up for multiple visits.

Sonoma County is most famous for its wine country locate to the left of Napa, and is sometimes seen as its poorer relations. While Sonoma wines may not be a renown as Napa's, their pinot noirs and zinfandels are off-the-chart good. And Sonoma is double the size of Napa so production is higher with much fewer crowds.
Additionally, there is so much more to do in Sonoma County than in Napa County. It geographically borders the ocean to the west and the Mayacamas mountains to the east. This guide will offer a variety of experiences for travelers interested in exploring this bountiful county. If interested in more details, please feel free to book time with me. I live in the area and can recommend many fabulous places.

Lisbon is one of those cities that I know we’ll keep going back to throughout our lives. This beautiful city has so much to offer. The hills are a huge part of the charm, the views from so many different locations are breathtaking. The tile buildings here are beautiful and so unique. The trolleys and funiculars add to the experience and make traversing the city so much fun. The food is excellent, there are so many options, and so much to see. It is easy to understand why Lisbon is a popular place of residence for expats from all over the world, we could actually see ourselves living in Lisbon some day, too.
I have been to Lisbon multiple times so I have a lot of recommendations here! Hopefully you can pick and choose what suits you best on your stay in Lisbon! The things I've listed should give you more than enough to do for a few days.
This guide will include everything I've personally done in Lisbon with honest details about each location.
I will also list some wish-list spots in a section at the end that includes things that I still haven't done yet in Lisbon that I have planned and researched and hope to do on a future visit.

Cenotes are one of the main attractions of Yucatan; there isn't anything like them anywhere else. These underground caves filled with water are a must for all those who wish to visit this Mexican state; however, deciding which cenote to visit is a hard task having so many of them (estimated upwards of 7,000!).
I grew up in Yucatan, where "cenotear", visiting cenotes for a day during the weekend, was a common activity to spend my free time. During that time, I have visited more cenotes than I can count; this guide provides a list of the cenotes I recommend visiting.
The list is divided into two different parts: cenotes to visit from Merida and cenotes to visit from Valladolid. Regardless of that distinction, you can choose to visit cenotes listed among those closer to either city. I have done so plenty of times from Merida.
Additionally, the guide includes my recommendations and a few tips for visiting cenotes.

While Italy is synonymous with the delightful tradition of Aperitivo, its cocktail scene is a whole other world waiting to be explored. As a seasoned traveller who appreciates a perfectly crafted drink (and the friendly chat with the bartender that often comes with it), I've had the pleasure of discovering countless incredible cocktail bars across the country. Whether it's a new city I'm visiting or a familiar favourite I'm revisiting, Italy never disappoints.
Lucky for me, Northern Italy is my home base, and it boasts a high concentration of exceptional options. However, the South holds its own when it comes to fantastic cocktail experiences (with Rome leading the charge) This guide represents my curated list of the best-of-the-best, a culmination of expert experiences and the occasional repeat visit for quality assurance (yes, sometimes a second or third try is necessary!).
Italy, after all, is the birthplace of iconic cocktail ingredients like Vermouth, Campari, and Aperol. But its treasure trove extends far beyond, with gems like St. Germain, Amaro, Grappa, Amaretto, Limoncello, and the hospitality worker's secret weapon - Fernet.
