A trip to Niagara Falls is a bucket-list trip for many, and for good reason! We recently visited both the Canadian side and the United States (New York) side - each offers unique highlights!
While Niagara Falls is an easy day trip from either Toronto, Canada or Buffalo, New York, I recommend an overnight (or two) so you can explore several attractions and enjoy Niagara Falls at night. Here are a few tips and suggestions to make the most of your visit!

Arriving in Canada in the 1990s after a wave of migration from Taiwan. Boba has become a cultural staple of Toronto with shops scattered throughout the city.
The diversity seen in Toronto can be found in the wide range of teas available from different shops.
Here are some of the best bubble tea shops in Toronto.

So, you're going to the Canadian Rockies?
After living in Montana for many years, I knew and expected the terrain to be quite similar. I was in for quite the surprise when this area of Canada turned out to be one of the most beautiful places I've EVER visited.
Below you'll find my favorite stops (separated by location) that we found along the way from Edmonton to Calgary (and a few stops over in BC!), along with tips on the area and an interactive map. I've included the hotels used personally, as well as some additional top rated stays at several price points. I've also included some stops that we didn't make it to this first time around, but we will definitely be heading back for them!
Quick Disclaimer: Respect nature and wildlife. Wildlife is WILD and nature is natural. Treat them as such. Leave no trace when outdoors, and respect wildlife by giving them space.
Locations included:
🏔️ Edmonton
🏔️ Jasper National Park
🏔️ Banff National Park
🏔️ Banff, Alberta (town)
🏔️ Lake Louise (town)
🏔️ Canmore, Alberta
🏔️ Calgary, Alberta
I've added quite a few hotel options, as they all book up extremely quickly and are not cheap. I did highlight the ones we stayed at as well as provided descriptions of those!
Pssst. Above is the exact route we drove also! We drove up from Montana, but flying in to Edmonton and renting a car or RV to drive this itinerary down through to Calgary is an awesome option. If you wish to continue this trip further like we did, drive down to Yoho and Kootenay National Parks in BC and Glacier National Park in Montana from Calgary! I have a separate guide for Glacier, but highly recommend if you have the time!
I have listed a variety of different things from nature and hiking to food and craft beer to a few select "other" options (that don't involve hiking). However, this guide primarily focuses on the true beauty of nature in Canada. You won't run out of options!
We found the Parks in Canada to be extremely accessible, dog friendly, and overall pretty clean. The red Adirondack chairs were the coolest thing, and I'm not going to explain that... You'll see what I mean.

Are You a European Traveling to the United States? Here is where you should visit
To my friends outside the US and Canada - you really do not know how to travel America. For as much as us Americans are mockable when visiting Europe and other places, you are just as clueless as us.
The USA lives in the brain of Europe. With so much popular culture, almost all places in America are "known" to Europeans. But when planning trips to America, the only three places Europeans think to visit are New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. And quite frankly, you're missing out on a lot.
So this guide is very high level: what places should you visit in America. Some will be obvious (I give New York a shout), but others may be a bit further off the beaten path. I've also included some resources about various places you can go visit. So fun planning and check out the best places to visit in America (in my very humble opinion)!

Montreal is definitely a top city to in North America and if you’re asking whether Montreal is worth visiting, the answer is absolutely YES! A visit to Canada is not complete without visiting this historical city. There is a lot to see and do and since I live here, I thought it would be helpful to put together an itinerary of the best things to do to help you make the best use of your time when visiting Montreal.
Montreal is a very walkable city. There is also an underground path connecting different parts of the city, for those colder days. The Metro and bus systems connect popular parts of the island efficiently. In the summer, you can also rent BIXIs and make your way around town using the many bike paths.
As a local, I recommend a minimum of 3 days but would say 4 days is best to perfectly capture the vibes of the city, see everything and try all the food possible at a relaxed pace.

I’ve been living nomad for the last years, and here I’ll show how I’ve done it without spending money, earning it, instead!
Since I started living abroad, I received comments claiming that I'm rich or lucky. So I decided to write about my story with the aim to show how living this lifestyle can be aittanable for everybody and to show a bit more about me!
Don't expect to read about being a digital nomad, that's not the only way to live like that. There are many other possibilities to have a nomad lifestyle.
Hopefully, I get to inspire somebody to start pursuing their dreams, no matter how big they are, they can happen (I can tell), to get out from the auto-pilot we all live in, and to dare oneself to step out of the comfort zone! 💭✈️
I will talk about:
• How did I start living abroad?
• Places I have lived in so far
• How I keep having this lifestyle
• My best tip to live nomad
• The people I met along the journey
• What's next?
