I recently visited the beautiful city of Thessaloniki in November 2024, enjoying unexpectedly warm weather with no rain. Though my trip was only for the weekend, I managed to visit the city’s most iconic landmarks, even though there was much more to explore. I also took a day trip to the stunning site of Meteora. The first time I came to Iceland was during my university when I got a summer internship in the country. I was way too excited to give up this great opportunity, however, my student budget was not too happy about the costs. I very quickly discovered that Iceland is as expensive as they say but I also discovered it can be explored on a low budget.
