Auckland's West Coast is often overlooked by travellers as you need a car to reach it and explore everything. When I visited, it exceeded my expectations and I fell in love with this rugged and wild coastline. The West Coast is part of the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park and is home to stunning black sand beaches, lush rainforest with waterfalls, one of NZ's most popular surf beaches and a gannet colony. It is not far from Auckland but you will feel like entering a completely different world. This remote and untamed region is more than worth a visit and will for sure casts its spell over you. I remember traveling into Cape Town by car from the garden route for the first time, with the sun setting over the ocean & “Queen” on the radio I felt like this place was going to be home. This guide will take you on a journey along the coast from Cape Town to Johannesburg or (vice versa) visiting some of the finest luxury hotels & camps that have a conservation / sustainable ethos along the way. I’ve also featured some of the very best experiences this nation has to offer. From swimming with great white sharks to getting up close & personal with lions in Kruger national park. Ravenna is a city on the East coast of Italy, a couple of hours south of Venice: it's known as the Capital of Mosaics, a form of art that developed while the city was capital of the Roman Empire and later on during the Byzantine era. The 8 UNESCO heritage sites should be enough to convince you to go visit, but in case they aren't here's 5 reasons why you should: 1. It's CHEAPER than bigger cities like Venice, Florence or Rome, but that doesn't mean it's not as beautiful 2. Staying in a smaller city doesn't mean you won't be able to visit anything else: in fact Ravenna is very WELL CONNECTED by the railway system to multiple major destinations 3. Are you a SEA or MOUNTAIN person? Don't worry, Ravenna has both: 20 minutes east are its beaches, famous for their beach volleyball tournaments, while in the opposite direction you will find the Apennines! 4. Like anywhere else in Italy FOOD isn't the issue: lasagna, cappelletti, "bolognese" sauce, etc. are originally of Emilia Romagna, the region where Ravenna is found 5. Is Italy not enough for you? Apart from being close to Bologna's AIRPORT, Ravenna has also FERRIES that will take you to the Balkans region in no time!

This itinerary outlines nine days of continuous adventure on the North Island of New Zealand. Spend a couple days exploring Auckland and the nearby islands, head out west for some black sand beaches and secret coves, hit up some insane hiking trails, and head to the east coast for some stunning beaches that draw the local crowds all summer. This itinerary is partially in hotels, but most of it is geared towards campervanning or rooftop tenting it through the North Island (that's what we did & LOVED it). It also includes a few hours of driving a day, and quite a few hiking opportunities (of course these can be substituted for other activities in the area). If you don't want to drive as much you could always spread the activities over more days, or skip your least favourite part to spend more time in the other areas ... but good luck trying to choose! Each day outlines activities to fill your day, how much driving, what to eat, where to stay, and other suggestions / information. This itinerary covers the following specific places: -> Auckland -> Waiheke Island -> Hobbiton -> Marakopa -> New Plymouth (Mt Taranaki) -> Tongariro National Park -> Lake Taupo -> Coromandel Peninsula -> Coromandel Forest Park & so much more! Italy is where I was born and where I live. From the Alps to the coast of Sicily, I had the opportunity to travel and discover more about my country. I was born in Galatina, in Lecce province and the city of pasticciotto (a famous local pastry), but I have always been living in Latina, a city south of Rome. Taiwan, surrounded by the sea on all sides, has magnificent mountains, diverse landscapes, and natural resources. It is a small and densely populated country, so many highways have been built for transportation and connectivity. Regarding transportation options, I like to drive, and I've had a lot of experience driving around the world, such as Iceland, Armenia, and Romania. However, after such a journey, I think there are many highways and scenic spots in Taiwan that are not inferior to those in the rest of the world, and there are not a few highways with high mountains and dangerous roads that lead to the sea. Therefore, the highways in Taiwan shared in this guidebook mainly focus on the spectacular and beautiful scenery along the way; it also lists the three must-see scenic spots along each highway and introduces them from north to south. To give travelers in Taiwan can have a richer and more diverse travel experience. But to add, if you want to find a historical and cultural or food-oriented highway, this list may not be the desire of the family, you can come to consult me.
