Montenegro is probably the MOST underrated European country. Located in the Balkans by the Adriatic sea, most people would choose Croatia or Greece over Montenegro.
Why pick Montenegro instead? Because it's way less touristic and cheaper than its neighbors. And despite its small size, it has it all! From picturesque coastlines with centuries old towns to Alpine mountains and waterlily filled lakes, Montenegro doesn't disappoint.
And because of its small size, it's possible to see its highlights in 7 days, from North to South.
This guide is best suited for road trip enthusiasts and avid travelers who want to see as much as possible in a limited time and on a budget. There is little time for relaxation, expect to be exploring and driving every day (on average 3 hours per day), but it will be absolutely worth it!
For convenience reasons, this itinerary starts and ends in Dubrovnik, Croatia, right at the border with Montenegro.
This guide includes a detailed 7 days itinerary based on my own road trip done in 2021, with cheap accommodation recommandations, places to eat, activities, sight suggestions and even hidden gems! Everything you need in one place, so you can focus on enjoying your trip!

The aroma of cinnamon and star anise brings back vivid memories of Vietnam, a country that left a lasting impression on my taste buds with its fragrant and intense flavors. The enticing scent of pho was a constant companion as I journeyed through diverse landscapes, hiking through lush rice terraces, weaving through motorbikes on my way to hidden bars — all within one month.
We're gonna start on the north of the Vietnam, do the North loop and slowly move to the south of Vietnam.

If you’re working remotely in Vancouver, you’ll most likely get to the point where you have to accept that your connection on Cypress is terrible, and if you’re trying to have another (questionably exhausted) work call at 9 in the morning, you’ll soon have a LOT of time to explore those BC trails. And, if that’s your goal: Fair enough, go and have a badass backcountry hot girl summer and enjoy the hell out of those beautiful mountains!
But if it isn’t (and you really need those dollar dollar bills for that heli-bike tour you booked up Squamish) – then this Guide is for you. It sums up my favourite cafés in metro Vancouver, that perfectly combine calm and aesthetic interiors with that sweet spot of good coffee, nutritious food, a strong wifi connection and a couple of locals wishing you a very good day (you are still in Canada after all).

Autumn in Colorado is all about hunting those vibrant golden sparkles of Aspen leaves that cover the mountain meadows and hillsides. This guide gives you everything you need for a magical weekend getaway in/around Breckenridge, Co, filled with stunning scenery, crisp fall air, and some of the most luscious spots for viewing fall colors.
Expect colors to peak in Breckenridge Sept 15-Oct 5 (ish), but you will still catch some magic if you visit up to a week outside these days.

Breckenridge, Colorado, is a small former mining community turned world class ski destination. The downtown is adorable and walkable, filled with restaurants, shops, and scenic views galore. Visiting during fall means all the fun with smaller crowds than winter.
Inside you'll find suggested itineraries for two days of fun, that include:
-Lodging options
-Restaurant options with fall-forward vibes (think Oktoberfest beers, seasonal menus, smokey flavors, & scenic views)
-Best hikes for viewing foliage, all in the easy-moderate range of difficulty
-Suggestions for scenic leaf-peeping drives
-Suggestions for epic sunset-viewing spots
The best part is that ALL of these spots are vetted and dog-friendly, meaning you never have to make arrangements for leaving your doggo behind if you don't want to.
This is a living guide, and will be updated as more information is learned. This is a living guide. As I discover more, I'll add more. You only have to unlock it once, and you'll get all future updates.

Emerald rivers. Glacial lakes. Hidden karsts. Historic cities. Snow-capped peaks. Sun-drenched beaches. Undiscovered wine regions. Untouched forests. You don't have to traipse all over Europe. The little country of Slovenia features everything you love about the continent in one place. So it's even been nicknamed Little Europe.
Start in the Dragon City. Ljubljana survived Roman, Habsburg, and Yugoslavian rule to become one of the greenest capitals in Europe. Then start exploring hidden caves, medieval towns, scenic drives, and a tiny sliver of coastline. There are adventure sports, award-winning restaurants, grand castles, and stunning views along the way. You'll quickly wonder why it's taken you so long to get here.
The Slovenia Guide works as a great circular road trip through Western Slovenia. Start in Ljubljana, drive north toward the Austrian border, head west toward the Italian border, circle through wine country, and end up back in the capital.
This detailed guide includes:

There are secret islands in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. Nine of them, actually. The Azores are an autonomous region of Portugal, even though they're nearly 900 miles off the coast of Lisbon. Mount Pico, on the island of Pico, is actually the highest point in the European country. The volcanic archipelago is covered with farmland. Small fishing communities line the coasts. Travelers were first introduced to the remote islands when they became a refueling stop for flights between Europe and North America. Direct flights from Boston and New York eventually followed.
The Azores are finally being discovered by North Americans without Portuguese heritage. It's about time. Ponta Delgada, the little capital, mixes historic buildings with modern hotels and restaurants. São Miguel, the main island, is full of hiking trails and hot springs. Pico Island is famous for its wine. While seven other islands are just waiting to be explored. With mild climate, thanks to the jet stream, the Azores are a year-round destination. Go before the secret gets out.
This detailed guide includes:
Places: islands, cities, neighborhoods, towns, hidden villages
Stay: hotels
Eat: bakeries, coffee shops, ice cream stands, pizzerias, restaurants, teahouses

Introducing the next great adventure destination: the Faroe Islands. Despite being part of Europe and (loosely) governed by Denmark, many people have never heard of these eighteen islands about halfway between Iceland and Norway. Those who make the journey will be greatly rewarded with deep fjords, pop-up waterfalls, and bright green valleys. A stunning coastline is never more than five kilometers away. Sheep outnumber hikers on wind-blown trails. While Tórshavn is one of the smallest—and cutest—capitals in the world. Go now. Nonstop flights recently started from New York, so these remote islands won’t remain under the radar for long.

Places: islands, cites, towns, villages
Stay: hotels
Eat: cafés, coffee shops, food trucks, restaurants, takeout
Drink: bars, craft beer
Shop: design stores, music
Do: beaches, churches, cliffs, gorges, hikes, historic sites, lakes, mountains, sailing, scenic drives, tunnels, viewpoints, waterfalls
