The Gili Islands are a group of 3 small islands off the coast of Lombok, Indonesia and are easily accessible by boat from Bali. These islands are a must see if you ever get the chance to visit, they are home to some of the best beaches and crystal clear waters the earth has to offer. Each of the islands has its own vibe and offers a different kind of experience; in this guide I'll explain the differences between the islands, and recommend some places to stay on each one from personal experience.

There are plenty of events during the weekend as Barcelona is a lively city so I would also check for any activities taking place the weekend you decide to go. Keep in mind that most museums are free for entry on the first Sunday of each month and this applies to most museums across Europe.
