When thinking about skiing retreats in Europe – Italy, France or Switzerland will come to mind first above every other place, for budget skiers it would be Poland, Chezhia, or Slovakia but… Levi in Finland is the next level of experiencing winter and adventuring in real winter.
This brilliant idea it’s not the cheapest one, but worth every cent, it’s a place in the Arctic Circle, what a better place You can imagine to ski, enjoy nature and views that really look like winter all around You? It’s Levi Ski Resort located in Lapland. You can find any kind of winter activities there for adventure seekers: husky or reindeer safaris and sledding, alpine skiing and snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, E-biking through snowy trails in the forest around Levi mountain, riding a snowmobile, ice-karting, and of course hunting northern lights.
You’ll need to start this adventure in Kittilä or Rovaniemi and take the shuttle bus from the airport to Sirkka. We stayed at Levi Suites Levin Klubi and the experience was brilliant, the location was very good because it was away from the Levi hotspot (ZERO POINT), but You can get around with a bus or hop on Your skis and get up to the slopes exactly from there.

Accurate Accommodation Classification Guide in Egypt
Egypt has an incredible amount of sites and experiences, but the excitement and joy of exploring the world’s oldest civilization and the greatest marvels created by man can sometimes be overshadowed by inconveniences. Simple issues, such as a hotel or Nile cruise not meeting the expected classification or standards, can detract from the overall experience. Although Egypt boasts many hotels, the categorization criteria are often loose and poorly defined, making it challenging for tourists to determine which accommodations best suit their needs.
The 4 and 5-star global classifications and criteria are not always strictly adhered to here, leading to discrepancies between expectations and reality. This can result in less satisfactory experiences for travelers who anticipate a certain standard of comfort and service. Whether travelers are seeking budget, luxury, or ultra-luxury experiences, they may find their needs unmet due to these inconsistencies. I have often heard comments like, “Everything was great, but I did not realize there were different levels of 5-star hotels, and I could have stayed at a more luxurious one to enhance my experience.”
This guide is designed to address these concerns by providing clear information on the classification of hotels and Nile cruises. It will help you navigate Egypt’s diverse offerings by listing accommodations according to their correct classifications, ensuring a more enjoyable and tailored experience. The guide categorizes hotels and Nile cruises into five distinct groups, offering clarity and ease of choice. I have excluded any hotels below 4 stars from this guide and focus specifically on the official 5-star categories, dividing them into four types: standard, luxury, deluxe, and ultra-luxury. This way, you can make informed decisions and have a more fulfilling stay in Egypt, aligned with your expectations and desires.

I first visited Iceland 3 years ago after getting an internship out of nowhere. And since then I been coming back year after year discovering the country more and falling in love even deeper.
Iceland is the crazy combination of fire and ice, pure nature, crazy landscape and unbelievably welcoming people. Friends and family always asked me for recommendations and like that, I eventually came to make this 10-day itinerary that I'd like to share with you. You'll stop at the most iconic locations and do things like whale watching, ice cave hiking and exploring the glacier lagoon by boat.
The itinerary with renting a car in mind. If you want to travel to Iceland without a car check out my other guide on car-free and budget Iceland. You can do it solo or with as many people as you can fit in a car. You can either choose a budget version with camping or be more comfortable with apartments on the way. For example, if you were to travel with a friend the cheapest option would be renting 4x4 and camping with your own tents. That would be 480€ per person plus activities and if you choose all of them total would be 890€. You can explore all price options in an interactive spreadsheet.
What you'll find in this guide
✔️Day-to-day itinerary
✔️Recommendation for car rental
✔️Recommendation for activities
✔️Recommendations for restaurants
✔️Budget estimate for different styles (camping, camper van, hostels, hotels)
What you won't find in this guide
✖️Accommodation recommendations (depends on no. people traveling and your traveling style)
