Visiting Dali Land and much more about Costa Brava. Spain
Olga PS
The ultimate guide to Costa Brava, defining where Dali was born, lived and created most of his masterpieces. But you will also have a great time enjoying beaches, hiking, food and superb nature views.
I have come here already for more than 15 years, so this guide is full of local places. Plan at least two weeks of holiday to enjoy it fully!
I covered here:
- How to get here
- Main Dali spots (_00_)
- Tips on how to get the most out of visiting the Dali Museums
- 🖼️Fun facts about Dali, which you can share with your friends while cruising between his art
- The best places to stay in three different villages, including camping spots
- 🍽️🥂Restaurants and bars for all types of budget, and a few of them, where Dali visited himself!
- 🏞️Mind-blowing nature spots (I'm telling you!)
- 🥬Markets and shops - to feel like a local and tips on what to buy there.
- 🍷Local wineries - yes, we have quite a few good ones!
- 🤿🛝🪂🤸🏼♂️Extra activities to do while visiting this region that you would love to explore - thermals, hiking routes and more
- Things to do with kids
- 🛍️Shopping
- 🎁 And, of course, tips on what to bring from here as a souvenir
💥BONUS. I also share one of the best spots to eat oysters - an oyster farm, where all the restaurants buy them, and you can eat it straight from the sea, paying almost absolutely nothing 🦪🍤
You can also contact me for a personal consultation or a custom itinerary for your trip.
**This guide will be continuously updated with more of the best about Costa Brava. Once you purchase it, you will automatically get those updates!

How to get here?
The closest airport is in Girona
The closest train station is in Figueres
From Barcelona it is around 200 km away, so if you jump on a fast train - it will take you 50 min and around 22 euros per person (one way ticket)
If you take a car - 1,5 hours from Barcelona airport
If you plan to move around here - you better rent a car 🚗 as the taxi is quite expensive and the distances are pretty big.
Taxi from Barcelona to Empuriabrava is in average 250 euros,
From Girona to Empuriabrava is 110 euros

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Olga PS
Hey, lovely Tatchers! My name is Olga. I'm an expat living with my Italian husband in 📍 Haarlem, Netherlands.
I can call myself a travel gem hunter and a professional Google pinner, as I can spend hours just googling around the map of the city where I go, searching for places to check out.
According to a recent Instagram research, my first passion profession should be opening a restaurant (I looooove cooking), and on a second place (drums), I should be creating my travel guides, as all of my friends and friends of friends ask me for travel tips in cities, where they know I’ve been.
I’m also obsessed with finding the fluffiest pillows in the hotels, the most exciting art shows and galleries and the most hidden speakeasy 🙈
So if you’re searching for actual hedonistic pins in:
📍Restaurants
📍Bars
📍 Art places and events
📍Hotels
📍Rooftops
📍Wineries
We’re going to be friends :)
