Vietnam is for you if you are open to different cultures, you're ok with being uncomfortable and experience new things. This itinerary involves night bus or night train but don't worry. For most of the destinations, if you prefer, you can switch the night bus with a flight or private car. IS VIETNAM SAFE? Absolutely yes. Vietnam is a pretty safe country, like all the countries of South East Asia in general. People are very friendly and they will always try to help you in every way they can. Koh Lipe is a lesser-known island in the south of Thailand, near the border with Malaysia, and it is 100% worth the visit. This island is full of charm, things to do, places to visit and restaurants to try! We fell in love from the first sunset. In this guide I will share our 4-night itinerary, arriving from Bangkok and leaving for Koh Lanta afterwards. Ireland is my favorite country in Europe, I can't lie. Having had the opportunity to travel a lot around the "Emerald Isle," I can assure you that the rainy days are not too bad (LoL). In reality, it doesn't rain that much. Dublin, (Átha Cliath in Irish language), Ireland's capital, is a lively and bustling city filled with people from all over the world. You'll encounter and hear different nationalities around, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Dublin boasts a rich and captivating history that spans over a thousand years. The 18th century marked a golden era for the city as it thrived culturally and economically. The Georgian architecture and literary heritage flourished during this time, with renowned figures like Jonathan Swift and Oscar Wilde leaving a lasting mark. Playing a significant role in the struggle for Irish independence during the 20th century, Dublin witnessed pivotal events such as the 1916 Easter Rising that shaped the nation's destiny. Today, the city seamlessly blends its historical charm with modern vibrancy, making it a must-visit destination for those eager to explore Ireland's intriguing past. This is a map of all the places I went to on my 3 month backpacking trip. We flew into Bangkok then island hopped in south Thailand for 2 weeks before flying up to Chiang Mai to explore north Thailand for 2 weeks. Next stop was northern Laos for just over 2 weeks where we got the slow boat from Thailand to Luang Prabang. After Laos was an overnight bus to Hanoi in northern Vietnam where we worked our way down to the south over 3 weeks. Finally finishing in Cambodia for 3 weeks and then bus back to Bangkok to fly home. This map includes recommendations of things to do, places to stay and restaurant recommendations too. I have added in information about the visas, currency, how to get around and important tips and tricks we learnt along the way. You can fit in a lot less than you think when backpacking so this is a realistic map of what is achievable in 3 months. It's a city full of history and monuments, with all buildings being ancient, many left to the elements and ruined, but still beautiful.
