Chacahua, officially known as Parque Nacional Lagunas de Chacahua, is a stunning natural reserve on the coast of Oaxaca, about 60 kilometers west of Puerto Escondido. It’s a paradise of lagoons, mangroves, pristine beaches, and unique wildlife, ideal for nature lovers, surfers, and those seeking a peaceful getaway.

I went to go visit some sloths 🦥 as well as enjoy a few days hanging out with great wildlife. Manuel Antonio is a great spot on the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica and a quick drive from San Jose Airport. I'd say 2-3 days is a perfect amount of time to enjoy the area and the beaches.

Explore some hidden gems and more well known spots of Nikko! We will be exploring mainly around the areas of Kinugawa Onsen and Tōbu-nikkō. Note: Nikko is well-known for it's many waterfalls and the area around Lake Chūzenji. Since I'm from the Pacific Northwest, the waterfalls are similar to what I would see near my home.
