This one is for all you military folks moving back and forth from San Diego (or Ventura) CA to Norfolk, VA. This guide also works in reverse if you are moving west.
The overall route takes Highways 8, 10, 20, 85, 58, and 264. Google says this is the fastest and most fuel efficient route. Each driving day will be approximately ~6 hours. 2,703 miles, 8 days.
If you’re into travel hacking try to pick one hotel chain to stick with. I have one Hilton family hotel and one Marriott family hotel for each destination, as well as a La Quinta hotel because they are great for traveling with pets and generally a cheaper option. If you’re down for longer drives and want to arrive more quickly you can skip Sweetwater and/or Raleigh.

I love a night out, especially in NYC. This is a map of my favorite nightclubs I love to dance at or just grab some drinks with friends. This map has nightclubs mostly in Midtown & Chelsea, plus a couple of options in Greenwich Village, NoHo, & Harlem. I've included the classics, plus some hidden gems.
This is a living map, meaning, if you save it now, I'll continue adding places to it when I find them & you'll get the updates!

My comprehensive guide provides you with everything you need to know to spend some beautiful days on the Banks Peninsula. Due to its proximity to Christchurch, this is the perfect place for a weekend getaway (or longer).
It includes general information, recommendations on where to stay, the best places to eat, what to do and beautiful spots around the Peninsula.
I experienced it a as very relaxing and peaceful place, perfect to calm down but without getting bored, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
