Western Cape - road trip
1st stop
Rent a car at the airport with VIPcars.com (that was the cheapest found) and drive to Agulhas. We stayed in a very nice place.
We ate at this great restaurant, the food was delicious!
You can visit the lighthouse and also the Southern Tip of South Africa where the Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean separates.
2nd stop
On the second day, we drove a bit more on the east side to this amazing lodge where we could go for a safari game. The place itself has amazing view, amazing food and in the afternoon you go for a game and you can encounter lions, rhino, elephants and much more. We stayed 2 nights there which is more than enough.
3rd stop
On the third stop, we drove to Gansbaii and stayed in a room with sea view.
We chose this accommodation because simply it is close from the shark cage diving. We haven't seen any white sharks but we did manage to have encounters with copper sharks.
4th stop
For the next stop, we went to Hermanus. It is usually a place for surfing but also a good place to see whales, either from the beach or with a tour.
We stayed at this lodge which the owner was great and making Braai (BBQ) every night!
For whale watching, i don't remember which one we took, but there are many tours that you can find next to the harbor.
5th stop
We drove back slowly to Cape Town and driving only to the coast line.
We went to Betty's Bay in order to see penguins.
And continues through the coast until Boulder's Beach for some more penguins.
Then we took the Chapman's drive on our way to Cape Town.
It's a beautiful drive and the look point are breathtaking.
Then continue to Cape Town.
We stayed at this beautiful place on the hills with amazing view from Cape Town.
6th stop
Just spend a couple of days in Cape Town and enjoy the city.
