I moved to NYC in 2006 and called it home until space got tight with a newborn, and the suburbs were calling louder and louder.
New York City is a fantastic place to visit as a family during every season. Unlimited restaurants and activities for your family are a huge draw, but one of the top things that hold families back from visiting NYC are accommodations to fit the whole family. With the restriction of short-term rentals, this is an amazing list of larger places for the whole family.
New York City has notoriously tiny hotel rooms, I have not only compiled a list of larger-than-average NYC places to stay but ones that fit a family of up to 6!!! Some of them even include a free breakfast which is always a huge benefit to a larger family.

This is a map of all my favorite spots to explore, eat, and stay in Aotearoa New Zealand after a year and a half of living in the land of the long white cloud with my two kids. Nearly all the pins are child friendly and they are noted if not.
I update this periodically as I travel to new places so keep an eye out and enjoy New Zealand's incredible country!

Young children and museums don’t usually mix well, but maybe you just haven’t been to the right ones! Berlin has some fantastic modern museums that are great for kids, offering hands-on experiments, exciting workshops and guided tours, all aimed at twerking your children’s interest and keeping them entertained.
With a complex history and cool urban vibes, Berlin may not immediately be your 1st choice or strike you as a family destination. But think again, this city is full of green spaces, parks and playgrounds which kids of all ages will love, as well as the largest zoo in Europe! So why not rent a bicycle or take a river cruise to explore?
So without further ado, let’s look at the best things to do with in Berlin with kids.

If there’s one thing I want to say about Morocco, it’s that the country is full of surprises. It’s a North African powerhouse with sprawling souks, endless tanneries, and hectic Medinas. But it’s also a place of quiet oases, snow-capped mountains, and a stunning coastline. And when in Morocco, Marrakech is a can’t-miss city. We took our 3 young kids to Marrakesh and that visit came with a lot of surprises. We were worried about taking our kids at first but quickly realized that Marrkech had so much to offer for families. In this guide, you will find some of our best recommendations on where to stay, what to do and places to eat when traveling to Marrakech with your family.
